When you first start out with makeup, the ideal way is to begin with a good makeup brush set.

However seeing as how prices have been going up, it is rather difficult for young girls to make a decision to what good brush set to get.

YADAH Spring Festival Party With Butterfly Malaysia

The first event of the year 2014 in collaboration with The Butterfly Project was the YADAH Spring Festival Party held at Little Wonton, TTDI.

Following up to my Beauty Resolution of 'Drinking More Water' and 'Using More Environmental Friendly Products', I have to say that this event was definitely the best way to kick start my year by adhering to my beauty resolutions that I made December last year.

Ninetology U9Z1+ versus the HTC Butterfly S

Hola my lovely beauties :)

First and foremost, here is to wishing you a Happy New Year!

And as it is the brand new year and I would like to start off the year by doing a review on the awesome Ninetology U9Z1+ against the HTC Butterfly.

However, as I am not a full on expert on gadget review, I will be doing an overall review on what I enjoyed most about both phones rather than just focus on their technical facts.

As you may recall last year I did a post about the Ninetology U9Z1 and although I did thoroughly enjoy the android aspects of the phone, I was concerned that the phone was a little big for the common user, especially one who carries around the phone 24/7 to snap special moments with loved ones.
The Ninetology U9Z1+

Hence enter in the smaller version of the Ninetology U9Z1, the Ninetology U9Z1+.

Similar to the aspects of the Ninetology U9Z1+, this phone is the perfect size for the user and has a clear interface to show dimension and depth to showcase perfect movie quality and crystal clear pictures.

With regards to it's specifications, the Ninetology U9Z1+ retails at RM1,299 as can be seen on it's spec sheet below.

Running on MediaTek's 1.2 GHz Quad-Core MT6589 Processor, the Ninteology U9Z1+ also measures at 144.5 x 73 x 9mm and weighs in at 158 grams.

What I definitely enjoyed with this phone was it's 5- Inch IPS Gorilla Glass 2 Panel at 1280 x 720 Resolution along with it's 13 megapixel camera.

The front camera shoots at 5 megapixels which is a great thing for those of us who enjoy taking selfies and even has smile and face detection for the viewer's shooting pleasure.

With regards to the unboxing, the Ninetology U9Z1+ comes with its basics which is 1x Transfer Cable and Charger, 2x Universal Adapters and 1x Ninetology U9Z1+.

  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS

If you are looking for the full spec sheet, look no further because I have also inserted it below for you ;)

With regards to its competitor the HTC Butterfly S, I would have to say that it's picture quality is much better than the Ninetology U9Z1+ as the exposure of the picture does not come out as grainy or as noisy.

HTC Butterfly is well known for its excellent sound system as well as it is integrated with BeatsAudio and when I took a listen, true to its description, the performance of its sound quality lives up to expectation.

Testing out the Sound Quality on the HTC Butterfly S

Retailing at RM2,399 at all HTC retailers, the HTC Butterfly S is admittedly much pricier than the Ninetology U9Z1+, but with regards to the phone's picture quality, sound and battery life- you can definitely see why it is so.

The Unboxing of the HTC Butterfly S

With regards to both phones, I have to say that the HTC Butterfly S is a very good phone and would be something great to purchase if you are looking for a good long term phone.

However, the Ninetology U9Z1+ would work very well for me as it is at a more affordable price range than the HTC Butterfly S and has covered all the basics in a smartphone that a person could want.

So you could say that it was a more preferred choice really. If you have the budget, the HTC Butterfly S is a good recommendation but if you are looking for a phone that covers your basic needs in a smartphone that does not cost too much; the Ninetology U9Z1+ is your ideal choice.
