First off, the Healthy Lip Velvet Finish is described as being long wearing with a decadent mousse like texture lipstick that delivers high impact color with a one-stroke color payoff. It is claimed to be light-weight, and has a cream formulation that features avocado oil that hydrates and moisturize the lips as well.

Now upon trying it on, the texture is certainly very smooth and is extremely lightweight on the lips. You honestly would not feel like you are wearing anything upon having it on. Not only that, but the stroke of consistency on the formulation is also found to be even on the lips, and while there is strong color payoff in one swipe ,it is good to note that since each of the shades in this range is a creamy matte, it is  recommended to hydrate the lips first and put a lip primer before application just in case.


However we can understand the hype for it for the product does definitely live up to its claims. Plus upon wearing it out for almost 10 hours, we found the color payoff still going strong and there is also close to no transfer when the product dries down. This includes the application going through meals and drinks with no reapplication.

Not only that, but if you are a newbie at this, it also keeps the application clean, even while depositing the right amount to go on the lips as well.
