BIODERMA Hydrabio Collection and the New Perfecteur SPF30

Having always leaned towards products for dry and sensitive skin, we were introduced to Bioderma's latest launch which is its Hydrabio Range. Now if you have yet to know much about Bioderma, its headquarters are based in Lyon, France while its skincare products are available in over 80 countries worldwide.


The inspiration behind the brand draws from the skin itself and thus having biological solutions to each one of their formulations, their products preserve the health and beauty of the skin in a lasting way.

The Hydrabio Range

Now there are six products within the collection and with its latest addition being Bioderma's New Perfecteur SPF30, the line is pretty much complete, thus segregating down to the three main elements which are to Cleanse, Tone and Treat.

Cleanse: Hydrabio H2O

Bioderma Hydrabio H2O

Now if you all remember how good Bioderma's hot ticket item which is the Sensibio H2O (the pink bottle), you are going to love this one. A slight reformulation on its original consistency, this Hydrabio H2O Micelle Solution is a great daily cleanser with a gentle scent that gives the skin solid moisture and hydration. With a clean swipe, it can also remove a full face of makeup and its remnants really well while respecting the skin's natural balance.

Usage: 

• Soak a cotton pad, and cleanse makeup on the face and eyes. Dry gently.

Tone: Hydrabio Tonique

Bioderma Hydrabio Tonique

Next in the routine, we have Bioderma Hydrabio Tonique. This as you might have guessed is a toner that removes the last traces of impurities and makeup on the face.  The aspect of it is very moisturizing as it tones and hydrates after cleansing and leaves the skin fresh, clear and radiant.

Usage: 

• Soak a cotton pad and apply all over face after cleansing

Treat: Serum, Creme, Gel Creme and Perfecteur SPF30

Bioderma Hydrabio Serum

Now for the treatment side, there are four products which you can choose to use depending on preference or on your skin condition. The first one that we have in this category is the Hydrabio Serum and this is an intense hydration concentrate that regains the skin's softness and radiance. It is a great treatment for sensitive skin as its texture is fresh and will give the skin great moisture instantly and lastingly.

Usage: 

• Apply onto the face and neck in the morning or evening. Used after cleansing and toning.

Bioderma Hydrabio Creme (NEW | Dry Skin)

Another on that comes into mind for those of us who have dry to really dry skin is the Hydrabio Creme. This is a rich moisturizing care that provides softness and comfort to the skin. It smooths the skin's texture intensely and durably moisturizes and nourishes to reveal radiance.

Usage: 

• Apply onto the face and neck in the morning and evening. Used after cleansing and toning.

Bioderma Hydrabio Gel-Creme (NEW\ Normal to Combination Skin)

For those of us who have normal to combination skin, you might want to take a look at the Hydrabio Gel-Creme. Similar to the Hydrabio Creme, the product durably moisturizes the skin to reveal radiance but is probably not as intense in formulation as it is after all a light moisturizing care item. It smooths the skin's texture wonderfully and provides great freshness and comfort as well.

Usage: 

• Apply onto the face and neck in the morning and evening. Used after cleansing and toning.

Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF30

As for our last but certainly not least product in the line, we take a good look at the Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF30. This item is for all dehydrated and sensitive skin textures and has a rosy natural shade to its texture. It is also a radiance booster that smooths and reduces dehydrated lines and prevents skin ageing and protects the skin from UVA and UVB. What makes its different is also that it is an excellent makeup base that has SPF30 as well.

Usage: 

• Apply onto the face and neck in the morning and evening. Used after cleansing and toning.

The New Additions

Overall, the Bioderma Hydrabio Range is very impressive as it targets multiple skincare reaches and concerns. Keeping in mind that the collection also focuses to treat for all seasonal changes as well, (got to love French Skincare for that) we can basically bring it anywhere with us during travels without having any issues.


Simple and clean packaging is also a definite pull here and with a fresh smelling scent to its products, the line also provides us as consumers with great results. A personal favorite is the Hydrabio H20 which was used daily over last weekend and with its gentle and mild cleansing, it is definitely made to awe.
