The Body Shop Ginger Range Review

In the past month, The Body Shop had recently released their brand new Ginger Bodycare Edition consisting of 4 products; which was their Shower Gel, Body Scrub, Softening Body Butter and their Ginger Body Yogurt. Now the ones that we have in hand are the top 3, with the exception of the Ginger Body Yogurt, hence we will be delving a little more into that, so to begin, let's start the review off with The Body Shop's Special Edition Ginger Shower Gel first.

TBS Special Edition Ginger Shower Gel | RM33 for 250ml

Like any of The Body Shop Shower Gels, the Ginger Shower Gel lathers up nicely and instantly; and with this scent, the product leaves a rather zingy & fragrant gingerly treat for the skin. It also cleanses it well and is enriched with a wonderful ginger root extract from India as well as Community Trade organic cane sugar from Paraguay. This one comes in a playful limited edition packaging and leaves the skin feeling fresh and smooth after application.

TBS Special Edition Ginger Body Scrub | RM106.50 for 250ml

As for this 2nd one, this is The Body Shop's Ginger Body Scrub which is also enriched with ginger root extract from India and Community Trade organic cane sugar from Paraguay. As its stated in its description, it is a special edition summer body scrub with limited edition packaging which buffers and exfoliates dry skin to ensure softer and smoother texture after application.

Now the granules for the exfoliation are quite fine with this one which is great, as it can also work on those who have sensitive skin. Plus not only that, the body scrub is also able to moisturise  the skin well with a light lingering ginger fragrance during application too which is good as well.

TBS Ginger Softening Body Butter | RM79 for 200ml

In terms to our final product that we have in hand for The Body Shop's Ginger range, here we have their Special Edition Ginger Softening Body Butter retailing at RM79 for 200ml. Now I am pretty sure all of you are familiar with the texture of The Body Shop's Body Butters and with this one also infused with ginger root extract from India, its richly textured vegan formulation provides 72hr moisture and leaves the skin feeling softer and smoother.

Like its other products in the Ginger range, this product also comes in a playful and punchy limited edition packaging; but it also has an additional aspect of having handcrafted Community Trade Shea Butter from Ghana which would make the skin feel supple and smooth. It leaves the skin feeling well nourished and is also a great body moisturizer for the Summer season as well.
