The first time I got wind of this Special Edition Bag was when I was browsing through my Facebook feed and saw an announcement that was posted by Mimi on the 8th July.
Of course since this was the launch of the Mimi's First Special Edition Bag, I could not wait to get my hands on it. I have been a big fan of her beauty bags since I first heard of them and you have to admit, her designs were very cute.
With regards, the Special Edition Bag was retailing at RM 59.90, a slightly higher price than the usual monthly bags which go out at RM 39.90 a month. Nonetheless, I found that it was reasonably priced due to the items inside the bag were all full sized products.
So as you can imagine when the Special Edition Bag arrived last Thursday along with the monthly July Bag, I could not contained my anticipation and quickly began to unveiled the items inside.
Let's take a look.
The first thing I automatically reached for before the unveiling of the products was Mimi's greeting card to the subscribers.
As mentioned in the last post, I did say that I was a big admirer to her creative illustrations that she takes great care to send out each month to her subscribers along with the items.
And as you have probably noted from the picture above, this Special Edition Bag launched after the consistent range of Mimi's last 5 highly subscribed monthly beauty bags.

| L'Oreal White Perfect Pearl Brush-On Foundation at RM 79.90 |
The first item I took out was a L'Oreal White Perfect Pearl Brush-On foundation in shade N1 Nude Ivory. It had a lovely finish but unfortunately it did not suite my tan complexion.
On the bright side, I did love the fact that the foundation was not cakey and the application was very smooth. This full size product comes in 17ml and retails at RM 79.90 per piece.

The second item was a timeless Truth Collagen Bio Cellulose Mask. This retails at RM 25 a piece which surprised me a tad bit but since it was a cellulose mask instead of the usual sheet mask maybe that was why the price was a little bit more expensive than the usual beauty masks we would find at our retail pharmacies.

The third item was another L'Oreal product, an Open Eyes Pro Eyesahdow Quad in 4 shades of Brown. Retailing at RM 53.90, I favored this greatly due to the gentle blending and easy application to the eyes. The brown shades also combined well with my skintone and created a very natural finished look.

The last two items was a Maybelline AngelFit Brighten Up Blush in Wooden Rose and Maybelline Color Sensation Lipstick in shade Plum-Tastic, both retailing at RM 29.90 each.
The blush had a sheer tint and created a natural finish for the face. However due to my skintone, the palette worked better as a highlighter and created a well blended contour for daily wear.
As for the lipstick, receiving a dark shade was a plus. I have always enjoyed playing around with different shades and this shade was going to be another fabulous addition to my collection.
Last but not least was the RM 10.00 credit voucher for Only Beauty.com.
Overall the cost of all 5 products in the bag was worth more than RM 200, and with regards I believe that this is a worthwhile purchase seeing that subscribers are now able to purchase the items at a low price of RM 59.90.
