De-stressing your skin with The Face Shop's Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Range

Recently I have been feeling very overwhelmed due to the holiday season, and with a lot of things in life, stress is beginning to look like the main suspect as to why my skin has been digressing lately. Now there are other factors that do contribute to this of course like lack of sleep, loss of appetite and even sometimes having frequent headaches, but there does come a time where I do need to take a step back and really evaluate on how I do things and thus change my lifestyle for the better.

As you guys know, skincare has been a very pivotal form that has been taking centre stage as of late and even though things have been rather busy on my end, I do ensure that I always have the time to go about my daily routine, no matter how busy I am. After all, it is consistency that would bring about the best results, however there are some days where I do get very tired and thus am looking for a skincare routine that is not overly complicated; hence entering THE FACE SHOP's latest range which is their Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Line.

What You Need To Know

Now as most of you know, I have been an avid fan of Korean products and so far, THE FACE SHOP is a brand that effectively works well for me. So when the brand released their Green Natural Seed Antioxidant line, I was definitely interested to know more about it because mainly it is rich in antioxidants and natural ingredients, it protects the skin from damage and free radicals as well as being able to improve the skin's texture with a good amount of moisture. It is a range that consists of 5 products in total, but you can also work it effectively with the main 3 as well.

The Products within THE FACE SHOP Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Line:

• Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Toner (RM99 | 160ml)

• Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Emulsion | Lotion  (RM99 | 145ml)

• Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Essence (RM120 | 50ml)

• Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Cream (RM140 | 50ml)

• THE FACE SHOP Energy Seed Antioxidant Hydro Serum (170ml)

Now the ones that I have continuously been using for the past month has been the Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Toner, Emulsion (Lotion) and Energy Seed Antioxidant Hydro Serum. First off, its true that the pairing of these are simple but the best part is that it effectively delivers what it is meant to do for your skin.

The range is also made with natural ingredients; one which is oat that heals, moisturises and repairs, while the other two are green oat (anti-fatigue, strengthen and nourishing) and tocopherol (for anti-aging, protecting and stabilising).

So giving a quick low down on all these products, let's start off with the toner. Now I for one absolutely loved this. It has a translucent runny texture that is quite cooling when applied on the skin and what I have noticed about using this for the past month is that my pores have visibly shrunk and tightened which I am very impressed by.

Also it is good to note that this range has balanced pH levels too, so maybe that was a factor that contributed to this effect taking place. Also if you have extreme dryness, its good to note that this toner absorbs instantly without any stickiness to improve dry and sensitive skin.

Next we have the Emulsion or otherwise known as the Green Natural Seed Antioxidant Lotion.  This product contains a natural blend of oils and extracts and leaves the skin very soft and moisturised after use. Its texture is lightweight which I enjoy, however its botanical scent is a little heavier than the rest of the products in the range.

For the final one which is the Energy Seed Antioxidant Hydro Serum, it delivers the effects of a 'first serum' which we had previously discussed in our last THE FACE SHOP post, but with this one in particular, it delivers two key benefits to stressed and tired skin which is Antioxidant to neutralise the damaging effects of free radicals, and Anti-Inflammatory that manages skin irritation right after cleansing.

The product is also formulated without silicone, PEG Parabens, phenoxyethanol, tar colorants ,animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, BHT and benzophenone-3. Now its good to note that this is the Antioxidant Hydro Serum that will only be available in stores and online from January 2020 onwards, so if you would like to check it out, definitely give it a go then. On overall, the products within this range is effective and I really do enjoy the fact that the collection mainly focuses on the core products of skincare and as such is pretty straightforward to use.
