Hilton Garden Inn KL | Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge Introduces New Signature Dishes

Two weeks ago, we were introduced to Hilton Garden Inn KL's brand new menu with Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge, where it featured an array of amazing comfort food to complement the scenic views of the Kuala Lumpur Skyline. There was a good mix of traditional Malaysian favourites to exciting fusion delicacies, plus the menu also takes on a mix of western and local flavours to pair well with Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge's beverage listing as well.

Now there are two parts to this menu and going through the first one, it features local fare that is rich in flavour history. We will be listing them down below for easier reference as well.

Rooftop 25's Menu (Part 1):

  • Rooftop 25's best-selling Tee Bandung Raja Laut: A soup based noodles dish consisting of peanuts and seafood paste. This recipe is a special one and dates back to 35 years and is the chef's grandmother's secret recipe.

  • Batu Road Fried Noodles: Inspired by the chef's grandfather who owned a hawker stall on Jalan Tar, this charred noodle dish combines old and new ingredients that burst with smokey flavours.

  • Aromatic Ayam Bakar: This is the very first dish that the chef made when he first started in the industry 15 years ago. Since then, the recipe has evolved and features two different cooking methods and special homemade sauce.

Moving on the 2nd part of the menu, this one take a more modern twist. Presenting an array of fusion delicacies, a couple of must try dishes include the Fabulous Cilantro Pasta, which is a Thai inspired recipe featuring linguine tossed with spicy garlic cilantro oil, baby spinach and parmesan served with poached seafood.

Another favourite was the Pan Fried Salmon Asian Glaze which is the chef's very own recipe. This one is paired with mushroom rice pilaf as well, which makes the dish a rather decadent treat. As for more of the signatures, you can also find the full details down below too.
Rooftop 25's Menu (Part 2):

  • Classic Mobley Burger: Hilton Garden Inn's signature burger that is named after Conrad Hilton's first hotel. It consists of a homemade patty, Chef's burger sauce, maple bacon relish, fries and cheese.

  • Javanese Chili Fries: This dish is mixed with tempeh, groundnuts and anchovies in sambal sauce.

  • As per the above, there is also the Fabulous Cilantro Pasta and Pan Fried Salmon Asian Glaze.

Now the best was to experience the new menu is through the romantic, and especially for couples, there is a Date Night package for that as well. For priced at RM550 nett per couple (RM495 nett for early bird price), this package includes a 3 course dinner (choice of Pan Seared Beef Sirloin Steak, Butter Garlic Chicken Breast Skillet or Pan Fried Salmon Asian Glaze, two drinks (choice of beer, wine or soft drink), a complimentary 2 Day 1 Night room voucher with breakfast for two (valid for 6 months), and a 15% discount voucher for their next visit to Rooftop 25.)
