With the hectic lifestyles that many of us are often leading, it's always best to take time away from work and do a little down time; focusing and pampering on the needs that is needed after a long and hectic week.

First up, let's talk about hair. In this humid weather that we go through, our hair extends frizz, uneven textures and dryness. Now if you are anything like me who has gone through various mixes of shampoos to find the right one; the likelihood of experimenting on each different range is endless.


However with the Matrix Biolage Smooth Proof Shampoo with Camillia, my hair texture did show improvement, with great volume and silky shine. As it does not contain any form of parabens (which is an extreme plus point) it cleanses the scalp evenly and gives out a wonderful fragrance as well.

Now when it comes to the face, we need to be extremely careful about what we use; for sometimes the wrong product may hit us up the wrong way; making the skin more sensitive and dry then it already is.


Using the Garnier Sakura White for the past two weeks honestly did not do much for me; maybe just with the exception of making my skin a little more nourished. As for the pinkish radiance, I found that as an interesting aspect however I have yet to experience this glow. Maybe over time with longer usage, it will eventually show.

Nature Republic Snail Solution Hydrogel Mask Sheet and the Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask was absolutely fantastic in terms of helping you give your skin a great moisture boost.


There was a personal favorite among the two; with the Nature Republic mask winning at both ends of the  nourishing and moisture effect but both face masks do give excellent results when it comes to giving a little more plumpness to the skin.

L'Occitane Velvet Hand Cream 

Keeping things gentle on the hands, we are here with L'Occitane Velvet Hand Cream that gives off a sweet floral lingering scent when applied on the hands. This product absorbs pretty quickly into the skin and keeps the hands soft and young and does not leave any form of greasiness as well.

Always 21 Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist

Last but not least we end our weekend pampering session with Always 21 Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist. On a personal note, I really enjoyed using this product. It gives a rather refreshing feel to the face and it's scent is really like a breath of fresh air. It provides great suppleness to the skin and give a rather cooling effect as well. Great to use on a hot and humid day.
