ANLAN ULTRASONIC SKIN SCRUBBER REVIEW

For as long as I can remember, I have always been a very big fan of beauty tools. This is mainly because they clean the skin quite thoroughly to refresh and rejuvenate it but they are also super gentle to use. Additionally, really good releases have been coming up lately too, especially ones that work on ion+ aspects, which needless to say intrigues me quite a bit.

However as most of us know, these tools can be quite costly from time to time, so if you are looking for budget friendly finds, this one from ANLAN may peak your interest.

What is the ANLAN Beauty Tool?

So what exactly is this beauty tool from ANLAN and what does it do? Well to put it simply, it is an Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber that comes with 4 different settings to help assist the skin with deep cleansing and rejuvenation at the same time. Its specification and purpose varies between the four modes as well; which is the Ultrasonic mode, the Ion+ mode, Ion mode and finally the EMS mode.

Hence before we go into the specifications, let's talk about the packaging for the ANLAN Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber for a minute. First off, this device comes packaged in a slim box, and it holds the scrubber, a charging cable and a sleek mint casing for the tool. This one in particular is in the color white (there is white, pink and green available for this model), and it comes in a decent size with a nice pearlescent finish to it which is quite lux as well.

Now if you are new to the device like I was, the specifications to note about this is that you can charge it for up to 2 hours for a full charge, and this can be used continuously for the next 50 minutes. This is pretty good if you think about it because if you were to utilise this product for around  4-5 minutes a day, your charge would only need to be done once every 10 days or so.

Fun Facts On How To Use the ANLAN Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber:

  • When you turn on the power button, a red light will indicate which mode is currently being utilised.
  • You can swith between the settings by pressing down the power button.
  • To turn the device off, you have to hold down the power button for 5 seconds.
  • The device also automatically turns off after 5 minutes.

As always, I will be listing down the specifications for each mode below for easier reference, plus it is also good to note that the device is light and easy to handle too, so no muss, no fuss.

The Modes:

  • Ultrasonic Mode: This mode is for a quick cleanse and helps to remove excess dirt from the skin to ensure that the skin is prepped and ready to absorb the following skincare products. This can be used daily.

  • Ion + Mode: This particular one is for a good cleanse and is used to exfoliate the skin deeply. It removes any excess dirt and oils that are deeply rooted within, and is best used only twice a week as it targets more towards exfoliation.

  • Ion - Mode: As for this mode, it does the exact opposite of the Ion + as this one is meant to assist with the absorption of skincare products quicker.

  • EMS Mode: In terms of the final one, this one is a bit different as it is meant for skin rejuvenation. Compared to the other modes, this one gives a more interval pulsation to induce the production of collagen. It is focused on diminishing wrinkles and helps the skin get firmer too.

The Overall Experience

Now I have used this device for the past few weeks now and going back and forth within the modes, I have to say that my personal favourite out of the four was the Ion +. This was mainly because this particular one got a lot of the excess dirt and sebum out of the skin, and even after, the skin feels very refreshed and clean with it. However it is good to note that you do have to keep your skin damp while using this to prevent friction burns, and this is honestly not much to worry about; because it is more so because of the many vibrations it gives.

The ultrasonic mode gives a similar effect as well as you have to keep your skin damp while using the product, but if you are looking to use the ion- mode, you can actually use this 3 -4 times a week after applying on your targeted moisturiser or serum. I also had a very good experience with this mode as it gave a spa like feel to it too.

As for the EMS setting, I do feel that this one was a bit more intense on the skin as it is meant to induce the production of collagen and diminish wrinkles. However, if you have sensitive skin, I would recommend to skip this mode as its vibration can leave a slight sting to the skin which can cause a bit of redness. It's not exactly my favourite mode at the moment (this is due to personal preference), but then again you would have 3 other modes to choose from, so there's variety.

On overall, I really enjoyed using the ANLAN Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber, and I find it to be very effective in cleansing the pores and refreshing the skin. Not only that, but the price point sits just right as well, plus it is budget friendly and safe to use especially for those who would want effective results but at a more affordable range. As for its retail, it comes in at $37.50, (You can now also get a rebate of 15% with the code 'penmyblog') and you can purchase it at ANLAN's Official Website too.
