Over the weekend, a bunch of us headed on over to RollerWa Malaysia, which is Malaysia's first indoor roller skating rink situated on the the First Floor of One Utama. The location was sectioned in between the new wing and the old wing; and you would need to connect to District K to have access to the site.
This place definitely was a huge sensation to many, as even before its opening hours (which are 10am-10pm), people were already queuing in line by 9:30am. So it would be advisable to go over early; especially so on the weekend in order to wait in line for your turn. For if you don't, do keep in mind that you would need to be waiting for over 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the crowd.
Nonetheless, when you do go in, the first thing that you would need to do is to purchase an Entrance Ticket. There would be a kiosk outside for quick access and while the entrance ticket is RM12, you would also need to select the option of preference below as well. We selected the Entrance Ticket at RM12 and a 2 Hours Rental for Adults at RM38, which in total came up to RM50 per person.
We should also mention that you would need to sign an agreement form beforehand as well to ensure that you would adhere towards the rules and regulations set by RollerWa too. Thus once you have done that, you can then check in with MySejahtera and do the necessary temperature checks as well.
RollerWa Ticket Prices | (Opens 10am-10pm daily)

Hence once everything is complete and you head on in, the first thing that you would need to do to get your skates. Simply give your shoe size number and the person in charge will pass you the skates accordingly.
Additionally, if you are carrying a bag or items with you, you can also rent a locker with a RM10 deposit too. There will be two types of lockers for preference (Big/Small) but the cost will be kept the same. You will be given a key with a band that can be kept on your wrists while you skate; and with this- rest assured that your items will be kept safely as well.
Now if you are a beginner in skating, there will be safety railing to guide you across the way on the sides. The layout is pretty spacious and there will be directional arrows to show you which way you should skate. There will also be a few instructors near the entrance to give you some tips and tricks as you are going in, but it would be best recommended to put on a full on safety gear with a helmet, just in case you trip or fall during the session.
Plus if you are into Instagrammable spot locations, RollerWa hits all the right marks with this one as they have not only set up 2 cute Photo Booth moments to take with friends and loved ones, along with some stunning neon lighting locations for visitors to snap pictures at.
On overall, we have to say that the whole experience was wonderful and we would definitely come back again for sure. Plus the staff was really friendly and the place was well sanitised with SOPs adhered accordingly too. So in the meantime if you would like to go and need more details and updates, you can check out RollerWa's Facebook and Instagram Page for further information.
