UNIQLO Launches First UT Collection with Studio Ghibli



This coming Friday, UNIQLO Malaysia has announced the launch of #Mystyle, My Ghibli, which would be the first UT Collection with Studio Ghibli, Japan's leading animation studio. The collection basically commemorates a new major exhibition of Studio Ghibli works, entitled #MyStyle, MyGhibli, Let's Lose Our Way Together - opening today at the Central World Shopping Complex in Bangkok, Thailand. 



This fun world of Ghibli display at the exhibition comes to Malaysia as LifeWear to color everyday life and the collection will be available at UNIQLO stores in Malaysia and via their Official Website this week, on February 18th.

For this, brilliantly coloured graphic featuring My Neighbour Totoro is a collection that vampires a lineup of 12 styles and both adult and kids sizes will be available at UNIQLO stores and online in just four markets, including Malaysia. The collection brings Ghibli movies to life, featuring colorful graphics based on My Neighbor Totoro and a photo of the Cat Bus by Thai photographer, Kanyada. All UT items are sold with a special tote bag.



In the meantime, the video introduction to UT by Studio Ghibli Producer Toshio Suzuki The major exhibition #My style, My ghibli, Let's lose our way, together is the first of its kind in Thailand, made possible through cooperation between UNIQLO and Studio Ghibli. It features the most memorable lines and key quotes that are integral to the world of Studio Ghibli rendered with impactful calligraphy by Toshio Suzuki. Additionally, on display are photos by Kanyada of the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka and the beautiful landscapes of Pak Thong Chai in the Northeast Thailand.



So definitely don't forget to check out the collection of Friday, February 18th 2022 and as for its retail, the Adult T-Shirt Designs (6) are priced at RM79.90 and the Kids T-Shirt Designs (6) are priced respectively at RM59.90 each comprising of a package of one UT and one white or yellow pocketable tote bag too. Additionally, you can also create your own T-Shirt with UTme! The UTme! service from UNIQLO, which allows anyone to make their own original T-Shirt, featuring special designs incorporating stamps from the commemorative exhibition, as well as Kanyada's photos and drawings, for user to create their own designs as well.
