Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette Review

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

So today we are going to take a look at the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. Valued at RM99 at your local Sephora Store in Malaysia, it is packed with very high resolution matte colors.Yes Matte Colors. If you are searching for something shimmery, this palette is probably not not the one for you.

Still it is a very small palette, just 11cm x 6cm in size so it is very travel worthy for your convenience. Something that you could just pack away in your handbag when going on anywhere, let it be a vacation, dinner, or even for everyday use.

Consisting of 6 colors (From left to right)
"Venus, Foxy, Walk of Shame, Naked 2, Faint and Crave"

As you can see, it is a very basic palette but if you are the type who enjoys the natural look *like yours truly* instead of flashy makeup then this is a good palette to add to your makeup collection.

Anyway I decided to try on the colors on my skin - here is how all the six colors look. Keeping in mind that my skin tone is rather tan - the colors still manage to stand out individually on it's own.

This is a really good thing for me seeing that I rarely find neutral colors that are close to my skin tone that stands out. This palette can also help eyes look elegant and eye-catching at the same time without being totally over the top.

If you choose to amp up the look, you could pair up these eyeshadow colors with a dramatic eyeliner. One of the best people for this inspired look would be the 24 year old singer Adele.

Mesmerizing isn't it? You could also add a little nude tone color to the lips to complete the look. After all, keeping things simple would always be the best way to go.

Xx!
