Modbox October Review

As we know beauty boxes are the current craze amongst our Malaysian society.

Chalked filled with beautiful surprises every month to be delivered straight to your doorstep, it has definitely become a popular online platform for young girls to sample new products and to generate the awareness on different type of brands.

Of course the element of surprise is also a very attractive feature as well.

As can be seen from previous posts, I have done many reviews on the various beauty boxes we have in Malaysia - Wonderbox, Vanity Trove, Bag of Love- you name it but now let me introduce to you the latest one.

Please give a warm welcome to Modbox. Launched over a year back, this beauty box has a selective range of products each month where you can make a choice on what products you would like for that month.

Modbox Policies

Ranging at just RM9 per box (separate delivery charges) , this beauty box is definitely the most affordable amongst the rest. Other than giving 3 accurate choices of luscious samples, this box also provides a commitment free service.

With regards, my box came in 1 week after I placed an order with them and I was tremendously happy that it came within such a short time frame.

  I simply adored the way they did the card. Each different following had a description of the product in the front and a discount code at the back.

2. Human Nature Strengthening Shampoo with Cream Foam (50ml) bottle

This shampoo is said to combat hair fall by up to 80% and is free from SLS/SLES and harmful chemicals. There is also a choice of Soothing Aloe and Cool Peppermint. As you can see, I have favored Cool Peppermint as my choice and I have to say the smell is simply lovely.

3. Ronastura 2-1 Mineral Foundation Powder (1g Tube)- (8g goes for RM48)

This is 100% mineral based foundation and powder that is suitable for all skin types especially problematic and sensitive skin.

Overall the application blended well and was not cakey at all. 

However, when I first took it out of the tub, I admit that I was a bit concerned as it did not mix well when my makeup brush picked it up. 

Nonetheless upon application it turned out quite well so I was quite happy with it.
