YADAH Spring Festival Party With Butterfly Malaysia

The first event of the year 2014 in collaboration with The Butterfly Project was the YADAH Spring Festival Party held at Little Wonton, TTDI.

Following up to my Beauty Resolution of 'Drinking More Water' and 'Using More Environmental Friendly Products', I have to say that this event was definitely the best way to kick start my year by adhering to my beauty resolutions that I made December last year.

As CNY is currently coming up in 3 weeks, we were asked to wear a little splash of red to celebrate the start of 2014 with YADAH.

So I took the opportunity to wear a red maxi dress  from Zalora and pair it up with a thin brown belt from Nichii and a sheer black jacket from Voir ;)

We were a little late to the event as we got stuck in a massive traffic jam due to heavy rain at the LDP but nonetheless we still manage to make it for the introductory to YADAH and try out the products.

"YADAH is a range of Korean botanical skincare products formulated with natural plant extracts like essential oils, floral water, barks and traditional herbs that work in perfect harmony with the skin."

"Discover natural and authentic skincare and cosmetics formulated with natural plant extracts. Priding itself in being 100% free from artificial coloring, mineral oil, sulphate and animal materials, the brand's products base are made from powerful anti-flammatory and highly moisturizing natural ingredients."

Eyeliners Drawn

After the introduction we were asked to draw one stroke of the black pencil liner and another black liquid eyeliner on the back of our hands. This was to test YADAH's Bubble Deep Cleanser.

Applying YADAH's Bubble Deep Cleanser

Retailing at RM49 per 150ml bottle, the Bubble Deep Cleanser is the best seller of YADAH and as we were given a sufficient amount, we were then asked to massage the cleanser in gently in circular motion; wipe it off with a wet cotton pad and there you have it, both drawn liners were gone in one swipe.

Well done butterflies!

Next was to test the YADAH Lip Tint Balm.

Priced at RM25 per balm, two butterflies were chosen to test how long lasting the YADAH Lip Tint Lip Balm by applying it on their lips before they had to finish one whole bowl of noodles.

Jennifer finished hers in 15 seconds and guess what; the colors still remained on her lips after all that slurpy goodness. Both of them were rewarded with Yadah  Ampoule worth RM65 each at the end of the session.

Testing out the Products

We were given 3 variants of sunblocks to sample each laid on a styrofoam plate.

As I sampled it I have to say my absolute favorite was Variant B for it's lighter consistency and quicker absorption when compared to the rest . I didn't favor Variant C for it made my skin really dry after the application.

The array of Products on our table

Of course as it was revealed to us we learnt that :

  • Variant A was Yadah's Sun Cream
  • Variant B is Yadah's latest called 'Oh My Sunblock' *Has not launched yet*
  • Variant C is Brand X which has SPF 50

Testing out the products was extremely fun as it brought us closer to further understanding the brand and learning it's origins on how it came to be.

New Year Resolutions?

Each of us were also asked to fill up a form on our thoughts on  the products and do a review rating as well.

For our New Year's resolutions, we wrote all of it behind this beautiful paper lantern to act as a pledge to the next YADAH event that we are going to bring it back at the end of year to see if we have indeed lived up to our promises for the 2014.

Spicy Thai Noodles by Little Wonton

As we were filling up our forms we were also given some drinks, wantons and a bowl of Charcoal Noodles (we could choose between Spicy Thai or Vinegar) courtesy of Little Wonton.

I decided to try the Spicy Thai and boy did it taste good :) I also have to make a highlight on two of their other delicacies; Kaya Banana Wonton and Sausage and Cheese Wanton because they were two of my favorites for the evening.

After lunch we decided to go around Little Wonton and take a look at the setup for YADAH.

How cute is the setup?

You have to admit YADAH is pretty adorable and as YADAH is 100% Free from artificial coloring, preservatives, mineral oil, sulfate and animal extracts you can be sure that whatever you are using from their shelves are of premium quality.

Yes I love Natural Goodness!

We had a pretty cosy atmosphere at Little Wonton. I especially loved the decoration with the lights and the mini bird cages hanging down from . Perfect for picture taking.

If you are wondering where you might purchase these lovely YADAH products, you can find them available at:

  • Sasa Stores
  • Hishop.my
  • Hermo.my
  • Mivva.com
  • Zalora.com.my

Better get them quickly though because as I had them checked out their items sell out pretty quickly.

Myself, Tammy and Ridley at YADAH Spring Festival Party

Reasonably priced, I have to say that for an organic brand that I thoroughly enjoyed using their products. Smooth consistency and with a range does not go above RM150 I have to say that it is quite a pull right there.

Myself with Yadah

Regardless of the rain and jam, the overall event was pretty fun and the food at Little Wonton was really good. I really enjoyed learning and exploring with YADAH's range of products too.

Our YADAH tote bag was specially flown in from Korea on the day itself so I was extremely touched with the additional measures YADAH took in to make this exclusive for us.
