Lakme Cosmetics 3 in 1 Aqua Shine Lip Color

 It's no short of a surprise that when it comes to the play of color on the lips, I am a huge fan. Plus having heard of Lakme Cosmetics before its coming to Malaysia, I had always been intrigued with their lip colors; especially when it was well suited to olive to tan skin-tones.

The Felt Tip

Hailing from its hometown in India, Lakme Cosmetics was already quite well known for its collection, having had famous Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor as a spokesperson for their cover. They come at quite an affordable cost too, priced around RM10-RM40 per product.

The shades

So having gotten my hands on one of their star products in six shades called the 3-in 1 Aqua Shine Lip Color, (there are 14 hues in total) I decided to do a quick video update on their swatches and application which I will link below for your viewing pleasure.

Shades Received:

Plum - A lovely burgundy purple hue
Orchid - A sweet shade of pastel purple and light pink
Garnet - A bright bombshell red
Chestnut - A light neutral brown
Truffle - A shimmery deep brown and red
Wine - A dark deep shade of red

Swatches

Seeing that its applicator mirrors similarly to Too Faced Melted Lipstick, I find that Lakme Cosmetics 3 in 1 Aqua Shine Lip Color has more control in terms of product usage. Its soft felt tip also allows the product to glide on evenly to the lips without leaving any place untouched.


In the meantime, retailing for RM27 per piece, each  of Lakme's 3-In-1 Lip Colors are extremely pigmented and moisturizing. Although it does have a reflecting shimmery effect on most of their shades, they are surprisingly not sticky at all and lasts about 4-6 hours.
