Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup Foundation Review

Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup Foundation

Having a good foundation never misses its mark on a girl, and like most; a flawless looking finish is one that all of us would like to achieve. Of course going through the hits and miss of the matter is one thing but once the right foundation has found its way into your loving arms, you can be assured that the rest of your makeup routine will be settled in nicely.

No Makeup; Barefaced

Now having a flawless finish depends on the two highlights; full or light coverage. Plus the preference? Daily wear and nightwear to suit the type of skin condition that you have. Having been an avid fan (and still am) of Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Foundation due to its hydrating properties and medium to full coverage build up; it was quite upsetting to see the price hike at Sephora from RM185 to RM200++ for a product that was most used on a daily basis.

Hence, opting for a new lightweight foundation for a more continued daily routine seemed like a smart idea, due to solely wanting to use the Genius Gel for principle events; so after looking around what seemed like months on end, it finally came across that I had finally made a decision and had chosen the Make Up For Ever Face and Body Liquid Makeup Foundation.

With the Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup Foundation

Now I can't really remember the price point of this although I think it was around RM150+ ; but there are 20 shades altogether and the color that I had opted was in 32, Alabaster Beige.  I have always liked that Make Up For Ever had a wide range of shades to choose from; so finding the correct color to match your skin tone was often quite a simple task.

As shown in the first impressions video above, application wise is seen better to be applied by the warmth of the hand so simply draw out two pumps to the back of your hand and slowly pat it down on your skin. I had used four pumps overall for the entire face; since the coverage was quite thin, so the build up to the natural finish gave a very dewy satin-like coverage.

I personally really liked the finish of the product and although it does not give the face a completely full coverage; it still looks really natural and evens out the skin tone very well. An update though as I did wear it on for a full six hours; is that areas like the T-Zone, cheeks and chin area did get a little oily so you can either blot it down or apply a finishing powder on top of it to set it once again. No reapplication would be needed.

So if you are looking to make a purchase, you can always head to nearby Sephora Stores or their Pro Boutique in Starhill Gallery. Of course for further info, you can always log on to Make Up For Ever's Official Facebook Page and Website for more details.

Xx!
