SISLEY PHYTO-BLANC BRIGHTENING CUSHION FOUNDATION REVIEW

A beauty discovery that was made recently was in an earlier month, when we were presented with a pleasant little surprise from French luxury beauty brand Sisley Paris. The product, which was the brand's very first cushion foundation was called the Sisley Phyto-Blanc Brightening Cushion Foundation and with more than 15 years of research, it comes with skincare benefits as well as lightening and protective properties.

Now this cushion foundation comes in 3 shades; starting from the lightest which is 1 white opal, then 2 white pearl and finally 3 light rose. The shade that we have here is in 2 white pearl, and understandably while that is a little light on tanned skin, its formulation gives an added luminosity and radiance to the complexion while providing double correction to the skin. (And when we mean double correction, we mean Optical correction, which smooths out imperfections & Color Correction as well)

Upon application, the texture is airy, light and has a light to medium coverage that settles comfortably on the skin. Its formulation of SPF30 with PA+++ is buildable - but does not weigh down on the skin, so this upon wear, it would be like your skin but better and more refreshed. It has a lingering perfume scent to it which is lovely and its good to note that the texture is also heat, humidity and sweat resistant too.

In terms of the packaging, the foundation is packed in a classically designed Sisley compact. Its presentation is elegant, sleek and minimalistic and comes with the standard sponge. What is unique about the casing though is that it is an airless one, where the foundation is dispensed through a small gap that is located right in the middle of the compact.

All you would need to do is to press the push button to dispense the desired amount that you would want, so in a way this is quite a hygienic method that is very convenient in a sense that it is not wasteful as well.

On overall, if you are looking for a cushion foundation with skincare benefits, then this product would deliver well. However it does come at a premium price point at RM460 (Its refill pack is at RM360), so that would be something to consider too.
