Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Longwear Gel Eyeliner Review

Let's talk about Rare Beauty's latest drop which is their Perfect Strokes Longer Gel Eyeliner.

Coming in with 3 shades, these liners are undoubtedly one of the more pigmented, long lasting and budge-roof eyeliners we have seen in the beauty industry in awhile. Its formulation is creamy, glides on the hand like a dream and after it dries down after 30 seconds, it will not budge or come off.

How Do You Use the Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Longwear Gel Eyeliner:   

• Only twist up what you need. The pencil doesn’t retract. 

• For instant definition, glide the tip along your lash line and/or waterline, starting from the inner corner.  

• Build to your desired thickness.   

• For a smoky look, immediately smudge out as desired before it sets. Tip: Work on one eye at a time.   

• To sharpen, pop out the built-in sharpener from the bottom and twist it over the pencil to reshape the tip.

In terms of the shade range, there is True Black, True Brown and Compassion. Each of these are waterproof, smudge proof and long wearing (as mentioned above), so they would be perfect during the summer or even in hot and humid weather; on both top of the lid application along with the waterline. Here we have the ones in True Black and True Brown and having used them for awhile, they have proven to be true to its description.

Additionally, the gel liners also come equipped with a sharpener, so whenever you would need a sharper precision, you can simply reshape the tip by using the the built in sharpener at the bottom. In our opinion, we have to say that this has been one of the best releases for 2023 and we can't wait to see what more Rare Beauty has to offer.
