Estadia by Hatten |
For those of you are heading to Melaka on a weekend getaway or for a short trip, its time to take a look at what
Estadia by Hatten has to offer. Now I have spoken about
Estadia before in my previous post so if you would like to take a look at this beautifully themed
Peranakan Hotel, do click
here for more details.
In the meantime, let's talk about their newly introduced
Peranakan Hi-Tea Buffet Menu. This delicious spread compromises of
authentic Melaka cuisines; coupled up with a good selection of delicious local desserts and favorites.
|
The Hi-Tea Buffet |
Priced at
RM50++ per person, this
Peranakan Hi-Tea Buffet Menu is the first of its kind in Malacca tthat serves a wide spread range of
Baba Nyonya Cuisine and thus will be available starting from the
29th of August 2015 until the end of the year.

The presentation of the buffet |
|
Dishes served |
Now while the presentation for the dishes are absolutely delish, let's backtrack for a second and check on its venue. After all, it is location, location, location.
So with regards for those wanting to know on how to find the restaurant, it is based on the third floor of Estadia Hotel at the Makan Nyonya Restaurant. The variety on the menu is available for tasty servings from 12pm to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday; inclusive of Public Holidays.

Desserts |

A notable favorite |
Seeing that this is a rather family friendly hotel, what is best here at Estadia is that families with children aged 11 years below can enjoy a complimentary meal coupled with fun activities such as a clog master demonstration and a complimentary sand art painting giveaway.
On a personal note, this is a really great treat for the kids for not only will it be fun for them but they will also be learning artistic new skills and hobbies along the way.

A personal favorite, Kuih Kapit |
|
Local deserts of Kuih-Muih |
I must highlight that for those who enjoy their sweets and treats during tea-time, the
Peranakan Hi-Tea Buffet at Estadia by Hatten does impresses immensely and their variety does not disappoint. Their assortments of sinfully delectable dishes comes in a wide range; from
kuih kapit to mango pudding, and all of them are scrumptiously delightful to the taste-buds.

Clog Master Demonstration |
|
Personalization |
|
The traditional beaded Baba Nyonya Shoes |
|
Personalized Clogs |
Of course as I mentioned earlier there is a
clog master demonstration activity that will also be exhibiting alongside the buffet, so for those who are curious to learn more, you can always ask for some pointers from the friendly uncle who does the personalization for them. It is learnt these
traditional Baba Nyonya shoes can take up to about a full month for a beaded pair, so the handicraft that is being done here is truly very admirable.
