| Celebrating Chinese New Year |
Chinese New Year is a pretty big deal for all of us and coming from a mixed parentage background myself, the traditional side of me reels with excitement and anticipation to seeing my family come together. The beauty of these festivities is that it brings such joy to everyone and having my family spread across different continents as it is, it makes me appreciate celebrations like these even more.

Now since online shopping has come about as somewhat of a craze, we as consumers often prioritize efficiency, quick shipment, great service and quality; and thus, that is when Zalora comes in. Emphasizing more on lace rather than prints this year, Zalora has given us a rather elegant entry of outfits to choose from to glam up for this Chinese New Year. This Lace Pieced Midi Dress is a great example of that and as much as I absolutely adore it for comfort wear, I also enjoyed the fact that this dress stands out on its own and only minimal accessories are needed to make this outfit whole.

Ah jumpsuits. Is it just me or are these coming back in trend? This is such a beautiful piece from Zalora and I honestly wish that they would bring in more of these back in style. Again, minimalism goes a long way here and pairing it up with a thin black belt and chunky heels sports a rather nifty and edgy look for Chinese New Year.
