The Launch of The Body Shop's British Rose Range

If you guys follow me on Snapchat, you would already know how much I have raved about the British Rose Body Essence (with its 24 hour hydration & pearl reflects) and thus following up with that, I am going to be giving a brief overview of the launch that took place at The Body Shop KLCC two weeks ago.

On the collection

Now whenever there is a new launch that takes place, The Body Shop has the standard Body Butters, Fragrance, Soaps and Shower Gels but the three items that caught my eye; which extends this collection even further was its Body Essence, Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub and Instant Glow Body Butter.

These three highlights were amazing  on its own and it became even more so when I found out how these scents and products in this particular collection were made.


In terms of this, we all know that The Body Shop is very proud of its no animal testing policy and keeping all its products very fresh and natural for us, this collection is uniquely special because of its exceptional quality rose essence; in which all the roses (which only grow during a particular season) are hand-picked, air-dried and infused on-site into fresh mountain water.

On Layering and Fragrance

It seems like quite a process to go through but being organically grown in Herefordshire England, it is no surprise that this timeless scent has quite a beautiful, petal soft wear fragrance to it and the best part is that it can be layered onto the skin if you would like a longer lasting wear.


A certain way to do this to first go in with the Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub, then move on with the Body Essence or Body Butter for that beautiful hydrated glow and finally layer in the fragrance at the very top. You wouldn't believe how much you would have immersed yourself in a beautiful rose scented fragrance by then.
