Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette

Urban Decay has been one of my all time favorite brands for some time now so I was pretty stoked when they launched their new Naked 3 Palette in Malaysia.

So when I managed to get my hands on one, I figured why not give you girls a closer look on what the hype is all about? Let's take a look.

#1 Packaging

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (Front)

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is cased in a small brown box, highlighting the name of the series in big bold letters.

There is also a shatter of Urban Decay's newly launched colors for the Naked 3 Palette evenly distributed and displayed on the front and at the back of the box. Attractive packaging purposes I suppose.

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (Back)

The back of the box shows what the palette comes with along with a few other products as well; 1x Crease & Shadow Brush, and a complimentary week's worth of primer samples in the 4 colors of Original, Eden, Sin and Anti-Aging.

Travel Friendly or Not?

The palette comes in the standard metallic packaging displaying the collection's name of the Naked series boldly indicated on the front. It also displays its new range of colors in a long elegant casing.

Admittedly due to the width of the palette, one might not be able to fit it in the usual cosmetic pouch, but as it is quite thin enough, I am pretty sure you will be able to place it in your luggage's side-pocket whenever you travel.

Front View of the Palette

The Naked 3 Palette comes in a smooth metal casing which embosses the brand name and collection in bold champagne gold fonts.

#2 The newly launched 12 Colors

The Range of Colors

The palette compromises of 12 colors - starting off with the light hues to darker illuminations. The colors are stated below for your kind reference.

Strange
Dust
Burnout
Limit
Buzz
Trick
Nooner
Liar
Factory
Mugshot
Darkside
Blackheart

A closer look

Perfect for daily wear and nightly functions, the Naked Palette 3 has a more slightly pinkish and shimmery tone if compared to its predecessors; The Naked Palette 1 & 2 which focused more on matte and brown hues.

Crease and Eyeshadow Brush

As mentioned earlier, Urban Decay has also given a crease and shadow brush for blending purposes for those who would like to achieve their desired look with the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette; whether it be morning or night wear.

The colors on the skintone

One thing I absolutely love about all 3 of the Urban Decay's Naked series is that their colors are suitable for all skin types. It's extremely versatile. Even on my tan skin-tone, you can actually see that the colors stand out very well on it's own. There is absolutely no hassle to worry about if the hues are too bright or too subtle for your skin-tone.

The colors are highly pigmented as well, but if you would like to have the colors a little more vibrant and long-lasting after the usual duration of 4-6 hours, you can always apply a lid primer to your eye for a more visible effect.

Happy Vibes!

For those of you who are interested in making a purchase of this Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette for Christmas, I suggest you had better quickly rush into the Sephora stores and claim your purchase because last I heard, their stock was already running low pretty fast.

Complete Set

Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette retails at RM188 and I have to say that the palette is truly worth every cent as it will be a purchase that you will be making full use of for a very long time. Unless of course you would like to present it as a gift to someone special or just add it into your beauty collection. But hey, both works just fine as well.

Sephora is located at Paradigm Mall, Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC and Starhill Gallery. So quickly head on over and make a purchase so you can dress your eyes up in ultra-smooth mattes to glimmery metallics and make your unique statement with it this Chrismas.

Happy Shopping!

Xx!

  2. I'm been a fan of the previous Naked palette before, but after reading all the reviews, Naked 3 is just too much of 'rosery gold for me'..which is pretty unflattering on ze skin. Hahahah but you cant deny it's pretty much tempting, especially when everyone's getting them for Christmas!

    1. I think its the shimmery rose gold hues was why they launched it near Christmas - suitable for a glittery Christmas look, lol.

I have the other two palettes as well but somehow I like this one as the highly pigmented shimmer of the color tones gives a very glam effect that brightens up the eyes very well ^^

  7. Really need your opinion. Which one is much better, much fun, much versatile? Naked 2 or Naked 3?

    1. Hi dear- okay with regards to this, it really depends on your skin tone and your preference. The Naked 2 Palette is more focused on brown tones which if you have fair-tan skin tone, it will look extremely natural.

Where else for the Naked 3 Palette, it holds a lot of rose gold shimmer so this would be good for a good pick me up and gorgeous blending activities - works well with fair-tan tones too.

So if you are looking for a much fun palette that is not too much on the natural side, I would highly recommend Naked 3 but if you are looking for a more natural base palette, Naked 2 would be a better choice.

      Hope this helped ;)
