Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey, Blemish Mud and Creamy Coconut Facial Masks Review

Facial Masks anyone?

For those of you who have been looking for good facial masks, let me be the one to point out the latest Montagne Jeunesse most talked about Creamy Facial Masks. There are plenty of variants but the ones that we are going to be focusing on today is going to be  the Manuka Honey Peel Off, Blemish Mud and Creamy Coconut.

Now as all three sounds extremely scrumptious, I know that  most of you have been asking me about them since I posted about it a little while ago on Instagram; so I thought it best to share my experience with all three on the blog.

Swatch

First thing that you would need to know about these masks is that it comes in a packet form. It's best to apply these masks with a cosmetic brush so that things won't get too messy but if you do not mind the mess or if don't have a brush in hand you can always use the tip of your fingers for application.

Each sachet has up to two to three application and is known for using only the best of natural ingredients. For those of you that would like to know what type of mask range that Montagne Jeunesse carries; the brand is basically known for their extensive range of peel off masks and mud/clay based mask. Being the number 1 face-mask brand it is loved and trusted by women in over 80 countries worldwide.

Application

Standing against animal testing and being absolutely 'Cruelty-Free' accredited; these masks have a fabulous after-use skin feeling and natural goodness variety with the tempting flavors to pick and choose from.

As I have been away from using masks for some time due to some skin issues; I decided to start off the regime by using Montagne Jeunesse's Manuka Honey Peel-Off. Ensuring to brighten and soften the skin, I applied a generous amount of the mask all over my face, waited a good 20 to 30 minutes for it to dry and gently peeled it off.

How to apply and removal

Leaving the skin with a great moisturizing effect along with improving my skin-tone, I felt that this was a great mask in terms of doing exfoliating. The peeling did not hurt but in terms of removing most of the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin; it didn't really do much for me. Perhaps this was gentle exfoliation maybe?

Name: Montagne Jeunesse's Manuka Honey Peel-Off

Montagne Jeunesse Blemish Mud

Next up; the Montagne Jeunesse Blemish Mud. I honestly thought this was a green facial mask with regards to the packaging but imagine my surprise when I found that this was a off-white mask.

Unlike the previous; this mask has a rather thick consistency and should not be spread for more than one layer throughout the face. This is because I found out that it would be quite difficult to remove and this could be quite a hassle later on.

Application

Suitable for oily/combination skin, this mask cleanses the pores leaving the face fresh with a tightening effect. With regards to blemishes, I can't really say if it helped or it didn't but I find that for those with dry skin; it's best to not put this mud mask on too often as I will make the skin a little flaky.

Name: Montagne Jeunesse's Blemish Mud
Quantity: 10ml (Usage 2-3 times per sachet)

Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut

This particular mask had to be my favorite among the lot. The Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut contains shea butter which after application leaves the face feeling moist and smooth while keeping the skin soft and fresh. It has a very refreshing scent and spreads around the face easily with only a thin application needed.

Application

This mask is pretty cooling upon the first swatch and dare you believe it; I actually feel asleep with it on my face. Upon direct contact with water; it washes up pretty easily and I have to say that I love the fact that the mask did not tighten up too much on the face. Maybe it's just me; but I prefer to keep my masks more on the refreshing side rather than on the tightening pores side.
