Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate Review and Vlog

29.9.14

Kiehl's Hydro Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate

Being someone who prioritizes on hydration, it is no secret that I often go hunting around for skincare products that could help to increase my skin's moisture level. My tolerance of having dry skin under our hot Malaysian sun is slowly becoming zero to none and I for one would absolutely not have it anymore.

For those of you who are going through the same troubles that I am, here is a tip for you. Drink lots of water, eat plenty of fruits and most of all, invest in an extremely good hydrating skincare product that can hold through the day and keep your face moisturized throughout the night.

Full Size at 50ml

Today I would like to share with all of you a secret that I have been using for the past month which is called Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturing Serum Concentrate. This product is one of the greatest finds for dehydrated skin and to be quite honest has brought up my moisture level so well to a point that I do not even have flaky skin anymore.

A rave find? Totally.

This product focuses on "Age-Related Dehydration" which is more or lest caused by an imbalance of moisture within the skin that occurs as we age, making the skin more prone to showing signs of aging sooner. You might be surprised but aging products are starting to become a focal point amongst skincare products; which is a rather good thing due to the fact that we would need to start taking care of our skin early; even at the young age of 25.

I have given a simple review on the product together with a moisture level swatch to give you a little bit of an idea on how the product works. After all, seeing is believing right? But to give it a little more of a breakdown, here is how my skin felt after four weeks.

After 4 weeks:

1. No more red patches of hurtful dry skin.
2. Skin became more supple and smooth.
3. No flakiness or skin peeling.
4.Significant hydration improvement.
5. Skin radiance.
6. Reduction of fine lines.
7. Youthful looking skin.

Overall, this product worked wonderfully on me and the best part was that it left no sticky residue and the absorption level to the skin was extremely fast. Usage is best to be optimized at night when your skin is clean and clear but if you would like to use in during the day with your makeup; I would suggest to utilize it as a base protection before leveling in with the daily beauty regime.

Retailing at RM 195 for a 50ml bottle; you can go to any Kiehl's boutique to check it out. Best to get a sample first before purchasing it though as it's always good to see if the product suits to your skin well. That and the price is a little on the expensive side. Nonetheless, I hope this review helps those that are going through something similar and helps assist to restore vital moisture that the skin is lacking for after all, who wouldn't want a more youthful looking skin?

Xx!

  2. The skin needs moisture so it would have a natural glow. Kiehls looks like an effective moisturizer.

  4. How does this fare compared to Indeed Lab's Hydraluron? I'm also currently hunting for a good hydrating product.

    1. It depends. If your skin is sensitive to hyaluronic acid then it's best to opt for Kiehls instead. Both have good moisturizing properties, but it's really depends on what suits best for your skin.
