NARS. The name that gets every beauty junkie screaming inside and just when you think you can't get enough, KABLAM out comes an epic holiday season collection just for you to collect.
Dominating the color forum this year with it's latest Laced with Edge Holiday and Color Collection 2014, NARS plays host to a variety of shimmery opalescent hues with just a hint of illumination for that lustrous Christmas spirit.

The first one that we have in our vanity is the new Hardwired Eyeshadow in Canberra which it's formula is described as an intense iridescence. These shadows come in three colors, Canberra; a shimmering lavender, Opal Coast; an iridescent white and Gabon; a bronzed green. Each are limited edition and retail at RM90.
One thing that I will give you about the one in Canberra is that it shades can play a dual tone when it comes to blending it into the shadows of your crease. It does not have any fall out upon application and can also be applied both wet and dry, depending on how intense you would like the color to be. Being rather pigmented, it can often be worn without lid primer as well and with a little bit of shimmer in it, it is extremely versatile for both day and night looks.

| NARS Adriatic Hardwire Lipstick |
Next up is the NARS new lipstick formula, Hardwired lipsticks. With a combination of cutting edge pigments and rich textures, it gives the user a glossy finish with smooth coverage. Retailing at a price point of RM90, this limited edition lipstick comes in three shades, Adriatic; a glistening soft cream, Deadly Catch ; a great crimson shade and Femme Fleur; a shimmering brick red with gold pearl.
Among the three hues, Adriatic gives off a very soft sheen where else it's texture is extremely smooth and buttery to the lips. Best used in the middle of the lips together with a darker shade for a plumping effect; as it's cream shade is quite light on it's own.

With three new shades this Holiday Season, the latest formulation together with the new brush is the redesign of the NARS nail polishes for their 2014 Holiday Collection. Retailing at RM65 each, the colors come in Algonquin; a sparkling lilac, Barents Sea; a sparkling deep blue and Sherwood; a shimmering violet rose.
Application wise, it glides on very smoothly and settles in well under two minutes but you do need to pack on two layers on your nail to make the color fully stand out. The hue in Sherwood gives a great color payoff while adding along a bit more of sophistication to the nail as well.

Going with the classic Holiday Red, NARS Burning Love Lipgloss gives a little bit more color than it's other two new shades. Coming in at three new shades at RM85, Soleil d'Orient; a shimmering champagne, Corsica; a shimmering pink raspberry and Burning Love; a bright ruby with a subtle shimmer, each are limited edition gives out a great glossy finish to the lip that enhances the whole look.
Not really on the sticky end, the Burning Love Lipgloss does not need much of a touch up and only tones down when you either eat or drink. It brings out a great shade on warmer toned lips and somehow or rather makes the lips look fuller when applied evenly with a lip brush.

Complimenting each of it's own tones beautifully, the colors add up into one beautiful look that gives a great finish to any outfit that you might own. Simply work up the eyeshadows, tone up the lips, don those nails and you will be ready to head out for that great day ahead. So simply put, it's time to kick up those heels girls and don't forget to paint the town red!
