|Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact|
I simply adore how cushion compacts are taking the beauty industry by storm and although some may have raised concerns on how hygienic it is or even if its a hassle to constantly have it around with you, you will realize that in time, this neat little compact comes in rather handy for those on the get go.
This trend of cushion compacts started off originating from Korea and is more or less the same as the standard BB cushions that we have seen around the market. However in terms of performance, ah well that's where we see the difference.
Now before I get ahead of myself, let's talk packaging. Now as I mentioned above, the packaging is very similar to BB Cushion Compacts; with the inbuilt mirror, a sponge holder as well as an airlock casing for the cushion.
The casing is simple and is made of lightweight white plastic that consists of a soft sponge within but the one thing that I found that was a considerable difference to the BB Cushions was that its inner cushion portion is way finer and due to its detailing, this brings out much better results when it comes to coverage.

Now even when its evenly patted down, the Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact is still comparable to all the Kbeauty BB Cushions out there but the difference that this particular cushion compact has is that it gives a long natural wear and a fresh rosy glow to the user in an unprecedented texture.

As you can see from the picture above, the coverage for this Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion is on a sheer medium so do not expect a high conceal on this.
It does give a natural flawless finish to the face by evening out the redness and pigmentation though so you will have a beautiful and dewy finish with a protection of SPF23/PA++ that will last till the end of the day.

One thing to note about this Cushion Compact by Lancome before purchasing is that its color range of 8 shades remains the exact same throughout the day and does not oxidize; so if you are looking for the correct shade to match to your skin tone, simply swatch it at the bottom of jawline; at the neck to find the similar tone that you would want.
Overall, I was pretty impressed by the compact but I do hold my reservations on whether the Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact would be suitable for dry or flaky skin. However, I will be trying this on for the next couple of days so do look out for a more in-depth review on how the texture and formulation glides on.
As mentioned, there are 8 shades available, and the refill retails at RM143.10 for the Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact so if you are looking to try them out, you can do so at all Lancome outlets nationwide. The compact case with the limited edition stickers on the other hand retails at RM37.10 but keep in mind that this is only whilst stocks lasts. In the meantime, Lancome will also be having exclusive promotions at AEON, North Court Midvalley till the 12th July 2015, so do head on over and enjoy the dewy rosy experience as well.
