Merry Christmas from Belif |
Last Christmas, a package from Belif was received and for all of you out there who struggle with dry skin everyday, these products within are simply going to brighten your day.
Now I am pretty certain that in terms of this space, you guys know how hyped we get with regards to new hydration and moisturizing products; but in terms of the items that DO work wonders for us and goes beyond that capabilities (even after more than a month's trial and consistence use); the excitement is even more so.
Unboxed |
However to begin with, let's just start off by saying that we didn't want this particular review to go out in a rather vast overview manner just because if it did, you guys would probably not know what products to concentrate on; so in view of this, we decided to put our highlight on two products from Belif that have exceeded our expectations in more ways than one.
Product Highlight:
- Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb
- Belif Hungarian Water Essence
On the products |
So with regards to that, let's begin by going through the steps, for there is a regime to follow in terms of the products. Hence in sequence, here is the daily routine that we did for the 2-weeks trial process all listed below for reference.
Daily Regime:
Optional: (After Cleansing and Toning)
- Cleanse (Product of choice)
- Tone (Product of choice)
- Belif Hungarian Water Essence
- Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb
- Belif Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream

- Belif Peat Miracle Revital Mask (Tightens lose pores)

Belif Hungarian Water Essence

The Hungarian Water Essence |
Alright, so with that aside, let's start off with the base. We have been hearing a lot of rave reviews about this essence but here are our two cents worth. As the acting base for the star product which is the True Cream Aqua Bomb, this product did fairly well. It hydrates the skin wonderfully and the ingredient list is very clean.
The Full Size |
In terms of consistency however, the essence is slightly thicker than water but absorbs well into the skin quickly. However there is some stickiness after application which we didn't particularly fancy but no worries that will go away after a few minutes. Two pumps is all you need in terms of usage to spread this over the face and noticeably after the application, pores are left smaller, the skin would be well moisturized and thus you would be left with more radiant and brighter skin.
Pros: Pores are noticeably smaller, skin left supple and radiant, is extremely moisturizing.
Cons: A little sticky and does not take away dry spots or redness.
Nonetheless for those of you who are having issues with redness or dry spots, this product is probably not the best solution for you as it will not be able to completely take those issues away, but with regards to hydration it does do a fantastic job, so if you are looking for just that, then the Hungarian Water Essence would be ideal.
Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb

Trying out the True Cream Aqua Bomb |
Now this right here ladies and gents is the star of my heart. If I could name any moisturizer at all which has renewed and revitalized my skin to the very best, this would be it.
So the texture for the True Cream Aqua Bomb is lightweight but you may find it a little thick when its gel-like consistency is first applied on. A good thing about this however is that you would not need much product to work it all over the face, so just apply a thin layer to start; plus you would also discover that the texture adds a rather cooling effect to the skin which is quite nice as well.
The consistency |
In terms of the scent, it gives a very light fleeting fragrance which soothes well, especially when applied at night and even though it takes a little while longer for the consistency to absorb into the skin as compared to the Hungarian Water Essence, makeup over this goes on flawlessly.
On Application |
This product is very universal as well and is suitable to all skin types; regardless whether you are oily, combination, dry or sensitive. A suggestion is to take a dab at this at night and I promise you, you will wake up with beautiful, healthy and supple skin.
Pros: Makeup over this looks fresh, gives the skin a healthy glow and is extremely moisturizing.
Cons: Slightly thicker consistency compared to the Hungarian Water Essence
Optional Uses |
Now as mentioned above these products here can be used in different selections throughout the week so depending on your preferences, you can go for the serum one day, then do the masks, and if you are feeling that your eyes might need a little help, you could always move on to using the eye cream. It is optional and completely up to you to how you might use them.
However overall, the two products highlighted above have been absolutely wonderful and though this is a rather long post, the experience with them have been nothing but sensational. Will definitely be using them more often this 2016 but in the meantime, if you guys are looking on where to get them, you can locate them at their boutique at Sunway Pyramid or IOI City Mall. For further details, you can also head over to their Official Page for more information.
