The Celebration of Diptyque's 50th Anniversary

During Diptyque's 50th Anniversary Celebration

Diptyque recently celebrated its 50th anniversary of its very first Eau De Toilette L'Eau which was released back in 1968, and with it came its stunning representation of the brand's artistic retro past and present, which was showcased at Wei-Ling Contemporary.

The Fragrances

Now this refined fragrance was the very first gender-less perfume that sparked a beautiful combination of roses, cinnamon, orange and clove to its scent. Thus as a dedication to L'Eau's 50th Anniversary, diptyque's perfumer Oliver Pescheux designed two brand new releases, marking its 36th and 37th fragrance; called Tempo (Patchouli themed) and Fleur De Peau (Musk Themed).

Diptyque's 50th Anniversary Fragrances:

  • Tempo:
    • The combination of 3 different extracts, each by a sustainable supply chain by Givaudan on the island of Sulawesi. Notes include pink peppercorns, bergamot and jasmine, as well as soft tones such as ambrofix, musk and clary sage.

  • Fleur De Peau:
    • This is a musk fragrance inspired by summer, that has the mix of iris, madarin oranges and bergamot as its opening notes. It is also infused with ambergris, roses and pink peppercorn as well.
