ZALORA Launches it's latest online platform - "Marketplace"

ZALORA never ceases to amaze, what with proving a huge online fashion platform of clothing, accessories and footwear to the masses but now they are taking their exclusive shelves to greater heights with the launch of their latest 'Marketplace'.


Especially designed to help emerging fashion businesses such as blogshops, boutiques and upcoming designers, ZALORA launched the Marketplace platform at the Boulevard area of Paradigm Mall and also gave us a sneak peak at their local labels  on the 26th of April 2014.

Treating the media and guests with their latest merchant additions, ZALORA's Marketplace platform had already showcased more than 100 local labels to ZALORA's ever growing customer base. We also had the delight to sample delightful little treats for the candy bar and preview the collections that were shown to us during the media launch as well.

Introducing the launch was none other than ZALORA's Managing Director Guilio Xiloyannis who was enthusiastic in supporting the entrepreneurial creativity of the local brands in the Marketplace.


Constantly seeking ways to develop both the brand as well as the Malaysian fashion industry as a whole, he emphasized that the Marketplace platform is a strong component in the strategy in order to reach those goals.

Having the opportunity to view the selected brands featured on the runway, we took some style snaps to show some of the brands that are on ZALORA's latest Marketplace. Three items that caught our eye were styled by Covetz, Closet Heart and Coccha. Other brands that were featured were by Hi Style, Milk Tee, Starroom, Nunfish,  POPculture, Lovemartini and Earth Heir.

Performances were also lined up, bringing the evening to a great close to a wonderful showcase.
