M.A.C Cosmetics Toledo's Tenor Voice and Bao Bao Wan's Lavender Jade

So since its International Women's Day, I thought that a lipstick review is much needed on M.A.C Cosmetics latest launch on the Toledo and Bao Bao Wan range. However, as I didn't pick up anything from the Cinderella Collection due to having too many neutral tones in my vanity, I decided to do a quick swatch and assessment on the two lip colors for you guys to see.


Now looking past the fact that M.A.C Cosmetics always launches these limited edition shades for us to try, I decided to pick a tone each from both the Toledo and Bao Bao Wan range as there were a handful of variety of playful reds and vibrant hues for us to sample.

M.A.C Cosmetics Toledo Collection : Tenor Voice

The Swatch

Starting off with Toledo's shade of Tenor Voice, this crimson matte luminosity brings a new light to the distinguish forms of classic reds. It's creamy formulation provides long lasting lip color for up to four hours and gives a bright shade of red that outshines even the reddest of roses.

Application

Retailing at RM77, the Tenor Voice is one out of the six shades that is unfortunately not in M.A.C Cosmetics permanent collection and will only be available for a certain amount of time. Seeing that it is a limited edition product, each M.A.C Cosmetics store will only be holding up to eight items in each collection so of course the first come first serve basis will apply here.

M.A.C Cosmetics Bao Bao Wan Collection: Lavender Jade 

The Swatch

As for Bao Bao Wan's Lavender Jade, it is a lovely matte purple shade that has one of the creamiest textures that I have ever seen. Upon first swatch, the color is extremely pigmented while its quality glides on the lips extremely well; rarely leaving any form of inconsistency in between the lips.

Application

It's definitely not a daily wear lipstick but I would say that it is certainly wearable if paired with the correct look and eye-makeup. Retailing at RM77, the lipstick collection from Bao Bao Wan comes in four highly pigmented and vibrant shades so again if you would like to give them a go, first come, first serve will apply. However, unlike the Toledo range, this Bao Bao Wan collection has only launched in selected M.A.C Cosmetics stores; so by my count One Utama will be the one to have it in stock.
