Covo Cosmetics Matte Magic Lipstick

It's time to hit the space with some of last month's beauty favorites, and this time the spotlight is on Covo Cosmetics. If you have not heard about them, its about time you should as their makeup range is extremely flawless with wonderful and affordable key products that simply keeps us looking out for more.


Covo Cosmetics has plenty in their variety of makeup and even though I have talked about their Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluid Range which you can check out at this link, let me bring up their Matte Magic Lipstick Collection, especially in the tone of Berry Plum as it has been the shade that I have been sporting for the last month.

The hue of this lipstick is a link between pink and purple, and as it is a matte lipstick, gloss, shine and shimmer are basically out of the picture. However contrary to popular belief that all matte lipsticks are dry, this particular one is very moisturizing, keeping lips soft and supple throughout its 4-5 hours wear. It also glides on easily on chap bits (if you have them) and has a non-sticky feel after application.

The packaging on this however does remind me a little of Le Rouge G de Guerlain Lipstick, with a little pop up mirror that comes up at the side once the product is taken out from its cover. Now this can come in very handy at times, however it does get a tad bit annoying when you can't close it on its own without the lipstick being put in.

Nonetheless with that being said, the color of Berry Plum is undoubtedly gorgeous, giving a sweet purple pink hue to the lips that compliments well to any makeup that you use. As this is a natural color it also pairs up well with subtle tones but I think what was most surprising was that while donning a heavier look; this lipstick also suits remarkably to the lip as well.

In a nutshell, Covo Cosmetics Matte Magic Lipstick in Berry Plum definitely does not disappoint and while I would like to say that I believe that it can match to any skin-tone, it is always best to head over to the store nearest to you and try them out for yourselves.


Now Covo Cosmetics was having a promotion for this at RM18 per piece instead of its retail at RM49, but I am a little uncertain if the promotion is still going on.
