Orient 65th Anniversary Roadshow

Orient Sun and Moon Timpiece in Rose Gold (ET0T001W); RM1,537

Even though yesterday's activities were all in a blur, I remember vividly the first time I saw this timepiece; ornate and perfect, sitting in its place with its stainless steel case and strong leather strap.

The feeling of appreciation and admiration over its immaculate details washed over me, from its stunning guilloche-style finish to its concentric patterns of motifs and embellishments. As I traced my fingers along this beautiful masterpiece and thought to myself, "Now this is what I call classic."

The Orient Roadshow at Mid Valley (last day 17th May 2015)

The Sun and Moon Timepiece in rose gold is one of the many pieces designed by Orient and while each of them are truly unique aesthetics, what gives them their edge is their amazing craftsmanship. With Orient continuously introducing new products into the market; they do keep a consistent focus on their development of mechanical watches which has remained unchanged since its foundation.

Now celebrating its 65th anniversary, Orient plans to release commemorative models but until then let's take a look at a couple of their star products that will be featured in their Midvalley Roadshow.

Orient Start Automatic

One of Orient's main highlights is their Orient Star and as such it was the first mechanical timepiece produced by Orient in 1951. As you can see above, the design for this collection is a rather simple design but yet has got a more polished and timeless feature.

The Yearly Calendar Timepiece

This Orient Automatic Yearly Calendar Timepiece was the highlight of the roadshow that had a multi year calendar built within. With polished dials and an attractive colorful design, this is one watch that will definitely be turning heads in times to come.

If I had to put together a few favorites out of each collection; one that I will definitely be aiming for would be the Happy Stream Collection. Especially that beautiful one in blue that is right across the center. They are affordable, beautifully crafted and will look extremely polished on your wrist. Carry them wherever you may and remember, for more unique collections, don't forget to check out the Orient roadshow at Midvalley which will only be around until the 17th of May.

In the meantime, for more information about Orient and their timepieces, you can head on over to their Official Website or Facebook Page.
