Trying out the two new additions from L'Occitane's Reine Blanche range |
With two new products joining the illuminating Reine Blanche range that launched last year in 2015 from L'Occitane, we were stoked, for this announcement for 2016 from the brand has been a long time coming and has definitely caught attention to a fair few of us looking out for a better skincare regime.

The Introduction of the Products |
You see, the initial skincare program for this range followed a five-step routine that consisted of a foaming cleanser, toner, serum, cream and an UV shield of SPF50; however as mentioned for 2016, the brand had launched two more additions; which is the whitening sleeping mask and an illuminating eye-care & mask.
Trying both of them combined, these two products not only cares deeply for the skin while a person is asleep but they are both also very nourishing agents that brightens the skin with the best benefits from within.
The Two New Additions
(L'Occitane Whitening Sleeping Mask)

On the Mask |
Now in terms of favorites, this Whitening Sleeping Mask is a front runner. Having applied this on the face for more over than a week, we noticed a heightened difference in terms of its moisturizing properties.
The texture and consistancy |
Not only did this gel cream sleeping mask do very well in improving the skin texture to a more illuminating and even fold, but with the Reine Blanche's special property of its flower petals (which lightens from an eggshell white to a pure white shade in time), it also balances the plumpness of the skin which will gradually lead the to healthier and more luminous texture.
Of course continuous usage is advised for better results, so with consistent use, you will definitely see a remarkable difference in time to come.

L'Occitane Illuminating Eye Care & Mask
On Application |
As for the L'Occitane Illuminating Eye Care & Mask, the formulation was very cooling & gentle and upon application, it did instantly soothe and refresh around the eye area. Respectively this was applied to the under eye area to decrease puffiness and as we are following a step by step routine here, it was massaged gently to the eye area using the cooling metal tip every single night consistently.
Results were pretty good as the eyes looked more well rested, plus upon applying makeup - it was noticed that the concealer and foundation did look better than before without any noticeable crease.
