Miss Hana Water-Proof Gel Eyeliner X Natta Cosme

Parcel from Natta Cosme

I don't know about you but for me I can never seem to go to a family gathering, event or even dinner  without amping my eyes up with a little eyeliner, whether it is for the top or bottom lid.

What was inside the package?

Thanks to Natta Cosme, I got the chance to sample not one but two Miss Hana's Water Proof Gel Eyeliners; one in 03 Choco Brown and another in 01 Night Black.

Now as this was a gel liner, I was generally a little skeptical; due to the smudges that I use to get from previous gel liners before. In addition, my crease isn't as deep as I wished it to be so occasionally I would get a double lines on my top lid that would totally make me look like a panda bear whenever I go out.

The two Miss Hana Water-Proof Gel Eyeliners

To be completely honest though, only those "quick dry" liquid eyeliners with an uber thin tip seem to do the trick for me, however in the description pad that I received from Natta Cosme, it was stated that this particular gel liner was completely smudge free so you could say that I was pretty hopeful towards the product.

Both eyeliners are similar in packaging to a pencil liner and come with a sharp gel felt tip. I was a little surprised by this though because if you have tried gel liners before (example: Kate's Gel Pencil) you will notice that the usual form of gel liners are based on being the retractable type.

So with regards to the packaging for these two gel liners, you could say that I didn't really fancy the cap. This is mainly because the tip was soft and anticipating that after a few uses, you could say that the transparent cap was definitely going to get a little messy.

Application

Nevertheless moving on to the application, I decided to first sample the Miss Hana's Gel Water-proof Gel Eyeliner in 01 Night Black and then 03 Choco Brown.

Now if you have double lids like me that are very close together, it is always best to draw your liner as close to your lids as possible. For a better effect you can always consider filling in your top waterline with a pencil eye-liner for a more fuller and flirtatious look.

Upon application, I was amazed to find that the gel liners glided on my eyes very well - there was no breakage of the tip and best of all both colors were very strong indeed. Only a one time application was needed unless of course you are looking to do a touch up.

Clearer View of the two colors

To see the colors much clearer, I decided to try them out on the length of my arm. Now I found out that this wasn't a very good idea much later in the bathroom because as far as the 'Water-Proof' fact goes, this eye-liner definitely proves it's worth. Of course scrubbing it off my arm for 10 minutes wasn't as much fun as drawing it on.
