We can't seem to get enough of them. There are all sorts as well, from natural to amplified; even from curling to lengthening. Sometimes there is just so many types that we often lose track on how many we actually have in our vanity.


Now experimenting with the different sorts, I realize that I always seem to come back to the ones that lengthens, defines and separates. This is an individual choice basing on the somewhat sparse lashes that I have; and give or take, these mascaras are the ones that work extremely well on the my lashes.

The overall packaging

Playing with Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash for the past few days gave me a more hands on experience on what the 'Hook and Roll' applicator brush was all about . You see unlike any other mascara wand, these seem to have a natural hold for lashes on its well defined bristles; which allows the product to have a gentle grip at the root and spread the formulation evenly across the lashes.

Now if you are wondering if the Roller Lash causes clumps and smudges; the definite answer here would be no. The formulation is smooth and given the fact that it has a rubbery top cap to give the user a firm grip whilst applying the mascara, the product goes on smoothly and locks in quickly; in roughly about 10 to 20 seconds.

Application : Swipe gently from the bottom and tease it from the root up.

Long wearing for up to 12 hours - though the hold only lasted on 8 on mine (which in all retrospect is pretty good), this mascara will certainly open the eyes in giving a bigger and brighter look in every way. It is water resistant but it is not waterproof which means it can be gently wiped away with the usage of warm water.

The results
