Imagine having tea by the seaside. That whiff of freshness and those healthy tea-leaves to keep you company on a relaxing day out. That is the scent presented with The Body Shop's Fuji Green Tea range.


I am pretty sure all of you already know that green tea has great antioxidant qualities and with its detoxifying health benefits, green tea has already made its mark for over 400 years in social and cultural activities; which greatly enough includes the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

One thing that I absolutely adore about The Body Shop is that it scents never fails to impress; and with this being a skincare secret that has been a part of beauty regimes for generations, the Fuji Green Tea by The Body Shop is the first body range infused with real green tea leaves and their benefits that will help to retain moisture and tighten pores.


So besides knowing that the green tea used for the range comes from the heartland of Japan, the pristine Mount Fuji region, I find that the overall range is absolutely perfect for both men and women. As mentioned, the fragrance does not leave an overpowering scent but rather a crisp and calming essence that leaves hints of cool sea breeze when used.

So to begin, let's start with the Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion. Let's just say that it was major love at first application. Extremely creamy and has quick absorption due to its lightweight texture, it leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth without any greasy feel. The hydration here is not that intense but it's fresh scent will leave you constantly whiffing yourself for hours.

That rejuvenating scent that wakes you up in the morning. I find that using the Fuji Green Tea Body Wash in the morning shifts me in the right gear to engage and embrace the day as it comes. It gives a rather silky wash rather than a bubbly one but for the price point it is such a great product to use on a daily basis.

This product. Gosh. If I could sum this up in one word, I would say that this has got to be one of the best micro exfoliating scrubs that I have used. Infused with green tea and honey which is a great moisture retainer; its jelly like consistency and Green Tea beads does a wonderful job of exfoliating and rinsing without being too harsh on the skin. It's nice and delicate for those whose skin is rather sensitive and is prone to redness. The scent is also not too overpowering and leaves a clean lingering fragrance on the skin that can last up to four to five hours.

The Fuji Green Tea Eau De Cologne

Now let's take a minute to refresh the senses with this Fuji Green Tea Eau de Cologne. For those of you who are thinking this is a women's scent; let me be the one to correct you there and say that this is completely a unisex fragrance. It's simple, fresh and clean and has a great scent payoff together with some subtle floral notes to it; including the Fuji green tea and lemon of course.

Overall I am completely impressed with the Fuji Green Tea Range and I honestly am looking forward to complete the collection and extend to try out the other products such as their Fuji Green Tea Body Sorbet and Body Butter as well. Been hearing many good things about them so will definitely try and get my hands on them if they have not been sold out.
