Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electric Foot File Review

Some people usually think that taking care of the soles of the feet doesn't matter. They believe in covering them up with socks and dress shoes, which is not really the case for me for when I look at the bottom of my feet, I feel pained. After all, horrible cracks, scaly dry skin and waxy underlying dirt just makes me want to wince in dismay.

Coming across Scholl's latest Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electric Foot File was honestly the best thing that could have happened for my feet as not only was it quick to use but also extremely painless. You would think I would normally be quite dubious of using huge electronic foot files but remarkably enough this particular one surprised me.

The Special Micralumina Roller Head

Retailing at RM179.80 at all Scholl stores, the Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electric Foot File comes in Scholl's signature blue and white packaging. The highlight of the product is it's special Micralumina Roller that also is replaceable. It is not a dainty object as the size is considerably big however it fits quite comfortably in the palm of you hand allowing easy movement to remove the dry and hard skin from the bottom of your feet.

Using Scholl's Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electric Foot File is quite simple, but always remember that you need to insert 4 AA batteries into it in order to start up the device. So simply pop up the cover at the bottom and you will automatically see the insertion for the batteries inside.

Do not forget to insert the batteries at the bottom of the panel

Once done, it is time to begin. Simply turn the silver strip to the left on the electronic device and soon you will see the roller head turning. Admittedly the sound is quite harsh to the ears but do not be intimidated by it as the device has a sensor that will detect it to stop if too much pressure is applied on the device.

Ensure that your feet has been cleansed, pat dry and soft for easy removal of the dry and hard skin. Once done, simply place the Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electric Foot File on your feet, moving in slow downwards motions as you do so.

Results

Now even though I am not big on showing my feet but I simply had to share this end result. As you can see, I have highlighted the areas where hard and cracked skin had formed and as a result of the Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electric Foot File, it was all gone in just one use.


Now I don't really have much dry skin at the front of my feet but with regards to my cracked heels I was immensely happy that it was gone in a flash. And mind you, this did not hurt at all. At most, I think I was more fascinated when I saw how the removal was swiftly done.


However do take note to do this in the bathroom because if you don't, you will be the victim of catching all the dust and dry callouses that come off your feet, and mind you, it ain't pretty. Although on a happier note, if you would like a more softer feel for your feet, it would be a great idea to use an exfoliating scrub for a deeper cleanse after the removal. After all, pretty feet are awesome right?
