Shizen's Lip Tattoo Review

Shizen's Lip Tattoo

Being one of the upcoming cosmetics and skincare companies in Malaysia, beauty brand Shizens is known for their cosmetic and skincare line; enriched with natural ingredients that are carefully selected from different parts of the world.

Extending a comprehensive range for beauty, Shizens offers us it's star product which is its Lip Tattoo that relieves crack lips and fine lines with the added benefit of bringing moisture together with the capacity of reducing dark pigmentation surrounding the lips.

Starting out with bare/natural lips

As pigmented lips are not one of the aspects that I struggle with on a daily basis, I was more looking forward on how  the Shizens Lip Tattoo would help with the reduction of fine line and cracks around the rim of the lips. Infused with Vitamin C and collagen production properties I was also curious to see how much of an assistance the product would give to the lips with regards to a moisture boost as well.

Taking a closer look

Looking at the product, it's white sheer formulation is not dense but pretty lightweight as can be seen when you take it out of the bottle with the applicator. It has a sort of watery-like substance which is a definite plus as most girls would not enjoy applying something thick and sticky onto their lips.

The packaging is nothing out of the ordinary, but can be seen of somewhat luxurious due to it's simple and elegant design. The applicator reminds one of a typical lip-gloss type but as it gives great pick up on the tip , it also creates a soft touch upon application and spreads the formulation evenly without having to hold to much pressure.

Upon Application

Application wise is pretty simple, but as the Shizens Lip Tattoo does give a natural rosy tones to the lip, you might need to wait a minute or two after application for it to activate.

How To Apply:

1) Take a moderate amount of Shizens Lip Tattoo and apply on lips evenly every morning.

2) After application, wait a minute for the color to gradually turn into a natural pink or give your lips a rosy tone.

3) As the shade can last the whole day, use twice daily for minimal touch ups for both prevention and correction use.

4) May apply lip gloss after meals to keep the rosy tones on your lips.

After Application

As I have been wearing Shizens Lip Tattoo for the past four days, I am delighted to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised that after the third day,  I saw a definite reduction on the cracks in between my lips. I was not really one for the rosy color that my lips turned into after application though; but then again the shade does vary on different people based on body temperature.

Retailing at RM168 at all Shizens stores, this is definitely in the luxury price range but if you are looking forward to trying something different that would assist with dry and chapped lips, I would recommend to give it a go. Do not expect the results to take on an immediate effect straight upon application but after a week or so, if there is a change, it would definitely help your lip condition in the long run.

So if you would like to find out more information on the product, do not forget to head on over to their Shizens Official Website or to their Facebook Page. If you would like a more hands on experience, you can also visit their stores around Kuala Lumpur as well.
