Now unlike one of the brand's best seller which is the POREfessional that comes in a transparent tone, this new addition comes in 5 neutral shades to cover imperfections without clogging any pores.


If you also struggle with a little bit of redness on the side of the nose as well, you would notice that upon application, its texture blurs and covers it up beautifully, whilst mattifying any shine instantly with its custom, built in pore blurring sponge.

The formula found here is actually pretty weightless and has a more targeted minimizing mushroom extract to specifically control excess sebum and surface oil for up to 6-8 hours. However, if you have oily skin, you might need to touch up every 4 hours, so do take note of that.

How To Use Benefit Cosmetics Pore Minimizing Makeup:

1. With the cap still on, shake the bottle well.
2. Pull out the custom pore-blurring sponge from the bottom of the base.
3. Press the button at the back to release 2 drops of the product onto the sponge.
4. Pat gently on pore-problem ares over the face to minimize the look of pores.
5. You can repeat to build the coverage or if you are satisfied, you can let it settle as well.

Now for the pros and cons. On one hand, the benefit of having this around is that it works well on targeted areas and is not for the entire face. You would also realize that in terms of negetive, the blending motion doesn't do much here as it shifts the product around a bit more (sampled on both bare and primed skin), so patting it gently on a specific area would do the trick.

However, if you are planning on applying it to the entire face, it would be highly suggested to do this with a dense brush as damp beauty blenders of any kind would separate the consistency and sometimes take the product completely off.

Overall Thoughts

Nonetheless, it does have a blurring effect which is nice, especially when applied on the T-Zone area, but in terms of coverage, it is pretty lightweight so do not expect it to conceal dark spots just like that.
