Murad | Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30

On Murad's Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF30

I was first introduced to the Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in December last year, and from its description, it states that the product is a power pack fusion combining a primer, moisturizer and sun protection all into one.

The Product

There are certainly many aspects of this that one would find intriguing, and at first I was certainly quite awed by its prospect, not only because the product had the sun protection of SPF 30, but also due to the fact it could be used as a hydrating primer for any base of makeup.

However let me first break it down for you one by one. The Invisiblur does have a fragrant scent and the reason why this worried me a little was just because the usage of this might cause a risk of skin irritation on sensitive skin. Nonetheless on the plus side, the texture of this is just lovely, and it takes on a silky gel-like form that smooths over easily onto the face.

The Texture

In terms of application, do remember to use this sparingly, so a very thin layer would do - for adding too much as a base can cause your foundation or powder to slide and roll off in little bits whenever you would blend. I had this experience with my beauty blender and it was not a pretty sight.

Though to be fair, I really did love using it as a daytime moisturizer as its smoothing texture does improve my skin quite a bit (loved that blurring pore effect), plus with the added benefit of SPF 30 as a sunscreen, it certainly made my daily routine application much faster than it used to be.

After Application | Smooth with Less Visible Pores

Overall it is a commendable product that has a good amount of fair points, and with a reliable UVA anti-aging protection sequence, it certainly weighs more in terms of the positives. Retailing at RM338 for a 30ml bottle, you will definitely see improved smoothness and texture but as individual results vary, it would always be best to check out the product first.

In the meantime, for more details on Murad's Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30, you can head over to the brand's Official Website and their Facebook Page for further information.

  11. Do we still have to apply the foundation after that or no need?
