Kiehls Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence Review

Kiehl's Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence

Never have I before been this excited over a treatment essence and seeing rave reviews online before its launch made me anticipate this product even more. Now we know that essences have been creating quite a buzz in Asia recently and with products like SKII and more coming out with their own treatment essences, Kiehl's is in apt and is no exception to that.

The Packaging

Basically we know that Kiehl's literally raises the bar every single time that they have a new product out and with that being said, their latest Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence that launched in May is every bit as good as what the expectations were and what the reviews have been all about.

So to begin with, thank you Kiehls for not packaging this in a heavy glass bottle. A big thumbs up right there. Keeping it simple and travel friendly, this 200ml bottle comes with a twist-open cap to reveal a small rift opening that dispenses the treatment essence.

The Texture

However, despite the not-so-heavy packaging, the product is still quite weighty, due to its texture of a slight gel transparency liquid. Not at all like the usual runny liquids, the density of Kiehl's treatment essence has a thicker than water consistency but it is very easily absorbed into the skin, leaving no residue.

The fragrance on the other hand is this slight fermented scent that is extremely light and is not transferable after application. You would probably get a whiff at it while you are applying it and once it has been pat down, the scent will slowly fade out leaving the skin fresh and hydrated..

Overall Thoughts

The Kiehl's Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence is anti-aging and while this  advance liquid concentrate deeply penetrates the skin to boosts radiance and reduce fine lines, I found that it also improves dullness in as little as two weeks.

Overall, I am loving this product by Kiehl's and I can't wait to see how well it will be improving my skin over the time to come. Retailing at RM180 (including GST) for a 200ml bottle, you can find out more details at Kiehl's Official Facebook Page and Website.

Xx!
