Sunplay Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Essence and Mist Review

The Mentholatum Sunplay Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Essence and Mist

If you are looking for an affordable daily sun protect essence and mist with a high SPF powered effect, then you have come to the right place.

Sunplay has recently launched their daily sun protection with double silky powder technology; which is an ultra light silky smooth matte texture that is ideal for our hot and humid weather. The two that I am going to be expanding on today is going to be their Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Essence and Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Mist.

Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Mist

Spritz away

The Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Mist is an SPF50+ PA++++ sun protector and retails for RM42.30. I will admit that it is very convenient seeing that you can just apply this by spritzing this product all over your body from any angle or any other hard to reach areas . It is also stated that it can be used on the hair and scalp since its light and can be easily washed off with regular shampoo but this to me sounds a little odd, so I probably would not recommend it.

Texture wise is light but to be honest, I did not enjoy the scent at all. It has a rather light chemical fragrance which lingers on for a good five to 10 minutes on the skin after application which I found a little off base seeing that the product is alcohol free, colorant free and mineral oil free. It is suitable for all skin types though so if you do not mind the scent, this would be a good affordable product to purchase that will not burn so much of a hole in your pocket.

Pros: Affordable, mist form, able to reach hard to reach places, hydrating, convenient

Cons: Chemical scent

Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Essence

Dabble on this

As opposed the the mist, the Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Essence has a more Johnson's Baby floral scent which I adore and is very refreshing to the skin. This 50g essence retails at RM40 and is a lotion type texture that spreads easily on the skin.

The Skin Aqua Sarafit UV Essence also can be used as a makeup base too; and I find this to be quite a power combo as it delivers long lasting hydration by targeting different areas of the skin. As you can see, the texture is quite thick and although it gives a rather whitish consistency that will take a little while longer to absorb than the mist, I find that it is slightly more effective than the spray and I love that it does not leave any sticky feeling or white residues after application.

Pros: Affordable, lovely fragrance, can be used as a makeup base, hydrating, not sticky

Cons: Thick consistency

Overall Thoughts

In the meantime, if you are looking for these products in stores; do keep in mind that the packaging is actually light peach pink and not blue. I don't know why its coming up blue under the sunlight and photos but maybe that is just how the packaging works.

So available at all leading pharmacies and supermarkets, you can also  also find out more about their products at their Official Website and Facebook Page.

Xx!
