On the Collection
Crop Tops (RM150) and Denim (RM150 - RM280)
As we are usually quite used to seeing bright shades from Monki, it seems like the brand is mellowing down in color for 2016, as we note more mixtures of black, reds and white in this feature. Plus in terms of the futuristic style that was mentioned earlier, you will be seeing a lot more of linear jackets and A-line skirts that signify the girl power version of future shapers, setting off a rather exclusive take on reassembling the new.

On the variety
In terms of styles, there is plenty of loose fitting cuts which amplify more on print but significantly the highlights for this collection falls in between three; which are denims, coats and fine prints.
Now some people might find it a little odd as to why there are jackets for Spring and Summer but as the brand has always featured coats and jackets in its every collection, we say why not indeed. Lightweight and comfortable, there is always a collectible demand for such variety after all.

Yoko Jeans (RM280)
Speaking of denims, the amount of detailing that goes into each piece is amazing. The fabric, the button and the styles are basically on point. Plus the price for the range varies in between an affordable range of RM40-RM350 which makes the line significantly more appealing to the public.
Accessories (Range: RM30 - RM40)
Saffy Bracelet (RM40)
Of course no fashion sequence is complete without its accessories so putting the array of clothing aside, we take a look at the variety was displayed. Simple, minimalistic and classic, each of these delicate pieces of jewelry are unique, hence from its long earrings to statement necklaces, everything is seemingly kept transparently simple to portray that effortless quality that Monki is going for this SS16.
