The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Serum

The White Seed Brightening Serum

Lately I have been taking a good look at quite a few skincare products due to a recent dullness issue I have been experiencing. Due to hot weather conditions, I have also been stocking up on lotions and water based products (makeup wise) like no tomorrow, but while all this has been helping the skin to retain its moisture and suppleness, I still had an issue about trying to get the skin to bounce back to its original radiance.

A Closer Look

Now while all this experimentation was going on, I also took at look at The Face Shop. This brand has an impressive range of products hailing all the way from Korea, and after deciding on a selection to include in my daily regime, the Brightening Serum from their White Seed Range was the product of choice.

Taking a look at the product

Having a first look at it, the packaging is pretty much what you would expect from a Korean made product. Clean, simplistic and modern with a pump to dispense the serum out nicely. Plus it also seems that as of late, I have been enjoying using products that are not too overly fussy with their design, plus typically classic skincare ranges like these also suits the vanity very nicely for daily use as well.

So with that aside, let's talk about the product and its effectiveness. Pumping out a near to clear liquid, the formulation is not sticky and the serum goes on the skin very smoothly. It does take a minute or so to fully absorb into the skin but as time frame is not really an issue here as this product is best used at night, it would good to sit down with a good book while the serum is working its magic.

As for the brightness claims in the brand's description, there has been solid improvement over the past two weeks of use. I honestly didn't see much during the first two days of use but if you refer down to the picture below, you can see that there is a definitive evenness of texture, especially when targeting the radiance on the under eye area.

Application

Now in terms of usage, I can tell you that this product can be more effective when slight pressure is applied upon application. So simply dispense a pump, take a fraction of that or a dollop on your index finger and spread it out; using your nose as your starting point and working it outwards twice. This ensures that the serum is distributed evenly across the face.

Overall, I have to say I am pretty happy with the results and will definitely make a repurchase when I am down to my last drop. As for further details on the product or on The Face Shop skincare range, you can head over to The Face Shop's Official Website but in the meantime, you can also follow up on new releases on their Official Facebook Page as well.

Xx!
