So I have been using the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 for about 2 months now and even though I am pretty new at it, I have to say that it does not disappoint. It keeps me up and about with it's fantastic apps, great offers, instant connectivity and the best part, on the go news.
The latest hype on the Samsung line is it's Starlight Cinema which is an attractive outdoor cinema feature located at the main entrance of Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park at the paintball field. Playing classic tales to hilarious comedies, this great event will be ongoing from the 13th - 21st of June. All you would need to do to experience it is download the Samsung Galaxy Life App HERE.
Welcome to Starlight Cinema
Now seeing that this was a Samsung event, I thought it best to do up the post with photos from my Samsung Galaxy S5. So yes, most of the photos that you will be seeing in this post will be credited to my beloved S5.
Long distance to the carpark? No worries there is a buggy to transport you safely to your destination.
Upon arrival, we were pretty stoked to experience our movie night under the stars and we were pleasantly surprised to see that vendors had already neatly set up their stores all around the field to provide the guests with ample of food and drinks.
Loving the big screen yet?
Security was a little tight though so best to know that once you have entered, not to leave until you absolutely want to. As for our movie choices, ours was set on comedy central where we watched a three movie marathon of Despicable Me 1, Despicable Me 2 and The Internship.

Beanie bags for everyone!
So how was the experience you ask? Well what I really loved, besides sitting under the stars watching the movies under a big screen; was the beanie bags.
Yes I will admit, I am a bit of a nutter for those comfortable squishy things but sadly most of them were already taken up by the time we had arrived. However no matter, we had our cozy warm blankets so we were all set to go.
Redemption of food and beverages were as simple as a click of a button where all you would need to do is go up to a counter, show them your redemption photo and hit redeem.
The staff will then take down the code, ask want you would like to order and swipe off the code after the redemption is completed. Activation will only be for an hour but you have to admit that it is a pretty sweet deal right?
There is a policy for not allowing outside food or drinks however, but then again why would you want to when there are so many variants to choose from around in the field?
A covered section to enjoy coffee and the movie
Not only that, Samsung had also set up a covered up area where guests could also enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the movie. I had a feeling that it was also there just in case the weather decided to turn for the worst, but either way it was really great of Samsung to think ahead for their guests in this case.
Creating memories : A marriage proposal!
In addition on the night we were there, there was also a very romantic proposal that surprised everyone after Despicable Me 1. So guys, if you are looking to create a memorable memory with your loved ones, you can always try Starlight Cinema :) In the meantime, a big hearty congratulations to the happy couple!
Overall, this was definitely a night to remember and I would highly recommend it to those who are looking forward to doing something a little bit more different than the usual movie night with their loved ones.
Since Starlight Cinema is only limited to be at the the grounds for another week, I might just head there again during the weekend to catch up on the Batman trilogy. I am definitely looking forward to another day of rerun fun and can't wait to relive the experience once again.
