Estelle & Thild Lip Balms Review

Estelle & Thild Lip Balms

Today we are going to be discussing about the Estelle & Thild lip balms which if you have read our previous article titled "Affordable Lip Products for Dehydrated, Dry and Chapped Lips", you would roughly know what they would be all about.

Nevertheless, these were trialed a good two to three weeks before it went on full review and even though its description states that the collection is more of a radiant gloss, we found it to be more of a hybrid between a gloss and a balm which in terms of texture is quite interesting.

So with regards to the line's colors, the brand launched four shades which are in Poppy Pearl, Blossom Beige, Peony Pink and Rosie Red. Each one of these are Certified Organic and are made with shea butter retailing at RM74 per 15ml tube which is quite affordable seeing that this brand is a rather big seller in Stockholm.

Shades Available at Sephora:

  • Poppy Pearl: No fuss no muss and adds a touch of glamour to off the duty moments.
  • Blossom Beige: Effortlessly chic and a glowing shade that is all class.
  • Peony Pink: Feminine and relaxed. Good wear on a daily basis.
  • Rosie Red: A statement red that beams confidence.

So a recent discovery in terms of its texture was that the balm is really lightweight and moisturizing. We did mention in the last post that its staying power does not last very long (especially with oily food) but when applied evenly in the morning, it can pretty much last till noon which gives it about a 4-5 hour duration if you don't mess up its essence too much.

On a personal point though, we like using these colors during the day just because they are very wearable and is not too overly vibrant. It does have a plumping effect with its organic formula which is very nice and if you use it throughout the day (reapplication of course) it also acts like a treatment balm which ensures that the lips do not have that much of a white residue around the rim.

Overall these shades are lovely and we really don't see a downside to them but if you want to have a look at them, you can find them at Sephora stores or even purchase them online at Sephora's Official Website. In the meantime, for more details, you can take a look at the range and products at Estelle & Thild's Official Website as well.

Xx!
