The Launch of Forest Colour

So as there have been some teasers out regarding this full on natural aloe vera range, its time to showcase and let you guys know what the brand Forest Colour is all about.


Drawing inspiration from the rich bio-diversity of the world's oldest rain-forest, Forest Colour offers a whole range of moisturizing products from lip colours, lip glosses, lip liners, eyeliners, mascaras, powder foundations, loose powders, BB Cream, Liquid Foundations and an eyeshadow palette.

As Forest Colour is an extension of signature beauty brand Forest Secret, the whole collection is also halal certified. Though I think what is really interesting about the range is that they are fully enriched with Aloe Vera Extracts (primary ingredient), Collagen and Vitamin E (secondary ingredient) that helps nurture, hydrate and protect the skin. There are also anti-ageing benefits as well that are great especially for those who are looking to maintain younger looking skin.

A Closer Look

Now before we get ahead, let me be frank here and tell you which was the beauty product that highly impressed upon first swatch. Winning hands down among the range was the All in One Collagen Powder Foundation (RM95) which eased application smoothly into the skin. Transitioning from a somewhat creamy base to a powdery matte finish, this would be the one that stood out the most.


The Collagen Lush Eye Color Eyeshadow Palette (RM85) on the other hand was beautiful and pigmented but only lasted a mere three hours on the skin; with its shimmer fading out a little first then its shade. I was a little disappointed with this to be honest but I think this was due to the fact that it is an all natural product plus the fact that I did not ease it in with primer first. However only more tries will tell with this one.

In terms of the Forest Colour's Perfume Collection, there are four which represents four different personalities. Encased in a clear diamond-shaped bottle, each EDP 50ml bottle retails at RM235 . The two personal favorites of mine was Diamond and Larimar.

After the official launch gambit signed by Duli Yang Mulia Raja Permaisure Perak Darul Ridzuan Tuanku Zara Salim, Forest Colour is now retailing online at its Official Website and will later on be sold through other online shopping portals globally, appointed Forest Colour Beauty Specialists and retails outlets.
