Debuting the album |
Alright time to take a break from beauty postings and check out what is going on with our local music scene. In the midst of many international artists totally working it at the VMA's today, we have taken a look at our own hip-hop genre and it looks like there is a new up and coming artist by the name of Shazzwan that has impressively emerged and has taken the entertainment industry by storm.

Keep in mind that while it is rather difficult to get noticed in the business, this artist/producer has not only garnered much attention but has also caught the eye of the one and only Yayasan Raya Muda Selangor (YRMS). Hence with all the tremendous support, he has also dropped his very first album entitled 'Titipan Banduan Muda' last week.

The crowd |
A little background on Shazzwan though, is that while with all his success, he had actually undergone 10 years of apprenticeship with none-other than acclaimed artist and producer Yogeswaran Veerasingam (Yogi B). He also had a troubled teenage past and despite all the issues that he had, it was overcome and hence he became a more passionate and focused artist.

Shazzwan's performance at the launch |
On his album, there are 8 tracks and a personal favorite is called 'Hidup' featuring Tisha Shamsir. The beat is addictive and there is great distinction to be given to the lyrics as well. So with regards if you would like to give the album a good listen, do support Shazzwan's art and follow him on his Facebook Page.
In the meantime, his album entitled 'Titipan Banduan Muda' will be going on sale at music stores nationwide from the 4th of September 2015 (Friday) and on iTunes (end of September). For more information on YRMS, you can also pay a visit to the Official Webpage as well.
